The Star Wars Championship Tournament #1
I feel like the quality of Star Wars debates on Comic Vine have deteriorated over time. This tournament is designed to bring that quality back to the community. You have the opportunity to debate with just about any Star Wars character you want, so I encourage anyone and everyone to sign up and make a team.
Each participant will have 50 points to spend on characters which have been given a price based on how effective they are in combat. These will be all kinds of characters - Jedi, Sith, Dark Jedi, Non-Force Users, droids, bounty hunters - and will span across all of the prominent time periods in galactic history - Prequel and Trilogy era, The Old Republic, New Jedi Order and more. Characters are first come first serve, mostly, but there are a couple of fodder troops that can be chosen multiple times, like Mandalorians, Imperial Guards or Magnaguards and more!
For now, I will say we can start with 10 participants. If more people want to join in I will certainly extend this limit.
Know of a character you want to use but don't see it on the list? Let me know and I will add it to the list once we agree on a price.
A panel of experienced and reliable judges will be selected to vote on the winner of every match, in order to determine a winner as fairly as possible. So far @laflux and @dondave have agreed to be judges, so I extend a massive thanks to them for taking the time to help make this tournament happen. If you want to be a judge let me know - we need as many as possible, and it'd be appreciated a lot. You can judge as well as participate. But obviously - you won't be judging yourself. I will also be on the judges panel but fear not, I'm completely without bias. And if you guys really have a problem with me being a judge, I'll step down. We have all the judges we need!
Matches will generally be combat-centric but I may throw in a couple of wildcards and objectives here and there to keep things interesting. I will also be participating, but I will have other people make my match for me in order to remove any kind of advantage I would have from making my own settings. I will also only choose my team when half of the slots have been filled.
Big thanks to @dccomicsrule2011 and @shootingnova for helping me create the list of characters and balancing out their prices.
This tournament will start in between 1-2 weeks, possibly longer. You have plenty of time to study your characters and think about your team.
TL;DR? Just ask me any questions you have!
Now.. without further ado - the list! Remember - You have 50 points to spend. First come first serve unless stated otherwise. Feel free to suggest extra additions or debate if characters cost too much or too little.

Rules
- Characters will be in character, with their appropriate morals throughout this tournament.
- Teamwork will definitely be a factor, and old rivalries, past relationships as well as personalities and morals will come into play. For example: Darth Maul and Obi-Wan Kenobi, obviously, will not make a good team, and likewise, if they end up facing each other it is more than likely they will go for each other and not anyone else because of their rivalry.
- We will be using Legends, or, existing EU versions, as well as Movie and TCW versions. Every character will be composite.
- You must debate with respect and civility throughout. Don't insult other users or argue over anything petty. Don't drag things off-topic. Just be chill. If someone is giving you any problems, don't respond in the same manner. Just ignore them or point them out and I'll handle it.
- That's all I can think of for rules at the moment.. if there are any I have forgotten to mention let me know and I'll add them in.
I hope this goes alright for a first attempt at this kind of tournament. If you want, help make this happen in any way you can whether it be helping flesh out the rules, being a judge or participant, or even just tagging a friend who may be interested. Thank you in advance, guys.
