Yes. Spectre can die. He is merely an agent of the Presence, not necessary to existence. I would assume that DC Death (the endless) does hold power over Spectre.

Are you saying this because you think that an embodiment of death can't die? Or is there evidence for such a claim? If Death can't die why was she destroyed by the Beyonder?

Both Lady Death and Spectre can die, while will get eventually resurrected as far as comic continuity is concerned. Spectre was killed during JLA: The Rise of Eclipso while 616 Lady death was killed during Sectre Wars 2 and the cancerverse incarnation of Lady death was killed , off panel, during Thanos Imperative.

However, i do not think either Spectre, or Lady death have what it takes to kill each other.

Also while i have never seen Lady death been defeated outright in a fight, Lady death was absolutely humiliated by In-Betweener, which kind of show she isnt any more powerful than him. Thats one of the biggest reason why she allowed Thanos to go after the IG when she knew one of the gems holder was in Betweener.

While i cant comment on who would win, because its hard to know the precise power level of either Lady death or Spectre, when they are both at full power (whats a full power Lady Death anyways) there definitely can be a winner in this fight.

For some reason, when I see this battle, I am reminded of when Spectre tried to defeat Nekron.

Spectre: *Angry Voice* I have come to judge you!!!

Nekron: *Creepy Voice* I have no soul for you to judge!!!

Spectre: NO!!!!!!!!!!

I'm pretty sure the same can happen with Lady Death.

If he does in fact do that, Spectre better be aware of The Mad Titan. Thanos bent on revenge, specially given some prep, is not someone even Spectre would dare take on.
