@jmarshmallow: Doom has the ability to drain SS in a random encounter. He did it to the cosmic hulk and was about to kill him until he was interrupted. Batman and Doom's feats arent comparable in the slightest.

Batman was able to outsmart a group of Martians. A GROUP of people equal to Martian Manhunter.

Was able to depower an amped Captain Atom, who was giving Superman trouble.

Drains the power of an alien vampire who took on the ENTIRE Justice League at once.

And, my personal favorite, created a plan to take out the ENTIRE Justice League NON-LETHALLY that was SO thorough, someone else was able to perform it successfully.

If you don't think Bats and Doom have comparable Prep feats, you don't know much about his character.

The plan from Tower of Babel (I think?) has already been debunked though, ra's al ghul pulled it off and he has an entire army at his back combined with wealth that makes Bruce Wayne look like a street urchin.

I still don't think that he's as good as doom at prep but he's closer than I thought.

@mtuske: Bats has been studying Flash and his connection to the Speed Force for years.

If he hasn't built a Time Machine from that knowledge yet, I'd think he'd be able to if he just talked with Flash a little.

honestly, these arent fights any more. When you give someone several years of prep, it becomes less about the character's skills in fighting and more about "he can build a machine that the other guy cant counter and get one shotted".

honestly, these fights need to stop happening. They are repeats of the exact same thing. A "Batman vs some guy who is waaaaaaaaaaaaaay out of his league and would destroy batman in a straight up fight, but batman gets several years prep". Yes batman is really good with prep, but every time he won with prep, it was situation. There is no way to know what Bruce would build in that time to counter a guy he doesnt have any info about who wields a power beyond batman's comprehension".

Also, what is stopping surfer from atomizing Batman and whatever other tech batman has with him? or from blowing up the planet? Or from speedblitzing batman by flying at FTL speeds?

the battle forum is becoming ridicules and pointless. its not about is the strongest anymore its about who has the most fans that will vote for them. no body is ever even serious on here its just a bunch of people trying to be comedians and failing. but hasn't BP fought silver surfer before.

But I do agree with @knightofzero, prep battles aren't fun.

There are so many variables involved. And realistically a character like Surfer should still be able to blitz any prepper.

I was just pointing out the irony that had this been a Doom, Reed, etc thread, nobody would have thought twice about them winning with prep.

I get people are over Batwanking, but that doesn't change the level Batman is at.

Everybody has annoying fans. That doesn't make the character any less credible.

Sensing that the Beyonder has infinite power, Galactus and Doctor Doom head towards the rift, only to be swatted like flies.

Doom takes Galactus’s power and goes on to challenge the Beyonder, and fails. However, he manages to “steal” Beyonder’s power with one of Galactus’s devices (which apparently happened off-panel). (I believe the Beyonder let him do so knowing that he could never handle so much power.)

I'm not supporting anyone here. I just saw you two arguing and said "Hey! I think have some scans that could help." But yeah, Doctor Doom took Galactus's power and used his tech in order to pull it off.
