The Shade vs The Darkness - I just caught up with all of The Darkness and started rereading Robinson's Starman. Didn't find this battle via the search function.
Darkness is current wielder Jackie. The Shade is The Shade.
Location: Gotham. Time: Sun just set.
1. Standard Morals 2. Morals Off 3. Jackie has Sara's help. The Shade has Obsidian's.
I wanted to include a scenario where the Bat-family interferes and who would win before being captured, but it seemed too convoluted.
Shade stomp. With Obsidian it's a bigger stomp - according to Obsidian in the most recent JLAs Shade is the most powerful controller of shadow/darkness in the DCU - The Darkness gets locked away for eternity.
@Equonox: interesting, i've never anything of shade outside of starman. and his comicvine page isn't that helpful. what methods would shade utilize to beat the darkness?

Basically complete control of the Darkness. Eclipso right now is possessing those being who have "shadow" inside of them, but The Shade is the only one who can overcome complete control. And as we all know Eclipso is one tough cookie.
@GreenLantern555: thanks. so shade would remove all the darkness from the room, not allowing Jackie to tap into his powers? wouldn't that affect shade as well? I was never clear if shade generated his own shadows or if he could manipulate existing ones like pyro for fire.
@GreenLantern555: Yea I've been reading the recent JLA which is why I said I think Shade would win. And yea, Eclipso is one BAMF in this current series...I hope he gets more spotlight post-reboot...
Been reading the new Shade mini and I think he would beat Jackie Estacado. As seen in #3 of the new mini Shade can use his powers on broad daylight, Estacado can't. Shade has been active for well over a century and Jackie is still in his 20's.
