no he said Spectre would have to put effort into beating him. Spectre would beat him but he would actually have to exert himself

he clears... Neron came to him and offered him a deal and the Shade pretty much laughed in his face and told him to p!ss off

@immortal777: PC Dr Fate said that even the Spectre would have trouble against a serious Shade, and when Neron offered him some power to amp him he scoffed at the notion. He's evidently extremely powerful.

Both are still impressive and yet he considers them to be a semi-equal which is something in itself.

oh i'd put the Shade above Neron only because the Shade seems to have no problems time traveling (iirc) he does it so nonchalantly.

no same league... Nekron was pretty bad a$$ but i stopped reading before the storyline finished. (it was just not for me) i do know hes damn near impossible to beat but so is the Shade for that matter

Shade is lacking combat feats for the tier he's supposed to be in. Best thing he has is beating Obsidian mostly off-panel.

He casually ripped apart a Black Lantern and his power was being used to control every darkness user other than Obsidian.

Black Lanterns are fodder. Eclipso was just using him as a medium IIRC.
