The Punisher vs Edward Kenway

Fight takes place in Miami Florida. It is a fight to the death. It is modern day but Kenway has had time to get used to the modern day layout of Miami. Who wins?

The Punisher: has 2 1911 Colts and a Tac-Knife

Edward Kenway: has 4 Flintlocks, 2 Swords, 2 Hidden Blades

Frank. Better weapons, better marksmanship, better fighting skill, better physicals. Better just about everything.

Castle because of what I like swords said. Frank holds pretty much every advantage save for agility.

Edward is more agile and maybe faster, in some ways, and has a serious parkour advantage, but Frank is much better with his weapons, and, if it came down to a fist fight, which is unlikely, given Frank's aim and superior firearms, then Frank is probably too durable, strong and skilled for Edward to beat. I'm not positive about that, though. Frank wins this because he's much better at shooting than Edward, but fisty cuffs would be very close, i think.

What if I put Punisher in Kenways time and he could only use weapons from that time to fight

This would be closer, and Edward would have the advantage of experience with the weapons and surroundings, but Frank still wouldn't be easy to take down. If it was a knife and/or tomahawk fight, or a fist fight, then the fight would go on for longer and be closer than if guns were involved, because Frank is basically a pro with firearms. Edward might be able to win in this scenario, and even if he lost Frank would be pretty slashed up.

@silverrings: Frank actually gets whooped by Cap and even more so by Wolverine.

Edward did suck and Black Flag's combat was kinda lame. Felt WAY too slow. AC III was the best imo regardless of him having bad characterization. Frank excels at just about everything compared to Edward minus charm which Frank easily trades for flat out badassery.

@gingerpenny That's what i think, anyway. These kinds of fights, comic book street levelers against characters from other mediums on similar levels, are often pretty close. It really does depend on the circumstances here.

@stormdriven I've witnessed it going both ways, myself. Frank often tussles with some of the best street types.

He's also beaten the crap out of Wolverine, and fought Cap, Spidey, Daredevil, etc. Some of it is definitely PIS, but it happened.

Spider-man, DareDevil, Captain America, The Punisher or any of the 4 Assassins. I can see any of these people beating each other, Wolverine though is different because of the ridiculous regeneration and adamantium. Someone might be able to Subdue him

I'm positive Frank has lost to spider-man more times than he's bested him but Frank is still no push over.

@darthaznable: Haha nice. I'm not saying Frank is a pushover, because he is far from it. But when you pit him against some of the best martial artists in the Marvel U, he doesn't stand much of a chance. I like him and all, but he loses pretty badly to guys like Wolverine, Daredevil, and even Cap.

Very true. But like Wolverine he goes through some bad writing...

I hate Wolverine so I don't care about him lol, but yeah, it's a shame :/

@stormdriven: Are you kidding me, here is how it goes, Punisher would walk all over Captain America and especially DareDevil, the Assassin has a better chance than DD`s bitch ass and he would still loose, I just posted this cause I thought it was a decent battle. As for Spider-man and Wolverine, they would kill The Punisher. This is for you Wolverine haters too

No. Both Cap and Daredevil would beat Frank, pretty handily. Both are far superior martial artists, and Cap far exceeds Frank physically, as well as having his shield to back him up. Daredevil is pretty much on par with Frank physically outside of agility and combat speed, where Matt pretty much excels. Add in his radar and enhanced senses, and Frank loses. So no, Edward doesn't stand nearly as much of a chance as Daredevil in a fight where Daredevil would win.

@stormdriven: get your facts first, The Punisher is a master at all hand to hand combat, far better than DareDevil and Captain America makes up by being a Super Soldier

Frank would give Daredevil a good fight, but he'd never take a strong majority, though.

Edward with Mayan armor is bulletproof and can defeat the movie version of Punisher, but he can't defeat the comics version.
