i like gl but im not that crazy about the ring, i already know the power cosmic don't come from the board well that was only in the movie, but like if i have to pick the powers and the abilitys out of silver surfer? or green lanteren? i pick silver surfer, with superhuman strength, stamina, resistance to injury, to survive without food or oxygen, heightened senses ability to project cosmic energy for a variety of effects, go at light speeds and abit more, it's just me well im out later.

Exactly, it was only in the movie that the board was the source of Surfer's power, it's not in the comics. So it's not just a board, it's a flying board, but you can fly with the ring and do much more too. And the ring can do whatever the Power Cosmic can do, it's really just the way they each fight that makes SS usually win. So Power Ring for me.

You need the power cosmic to control the board. Or at least to have Norrin Radd's power. That's the only way because it's HIS creation.

the man is right, the ff4 movie was stupid, and yeah give the ring any day, and since you did say if it was an alpha ring i take that, would would even think that dc would try to have one ring to rule them all???

Good point, so the board is useless to anyone else. The Power Cosmic comes with it, but it doesn't come with the Power Cosmic.

Sighs. The board doesn't grant the Power Cosmic, that was already said many times. It only provided the Power Cosmic in the movie. And the board can't be controlled without the Power Cosmic so it's useless.

i think the ring is the most useful if the surfer's voard doesn't do anything for you unless it's the board in the movie, and the lightsabor does cut through almost anything, but it can break and one false move....then there's two of you

The Ring by far. The Surfer Board has no power at all except being a board. The Lightsaber can just cut stuff. While the Ring has so much potential what it can do.
