I'd say Dr Doom.

Of that list.

None of these are overrated

Superman has never been a problem in that regard I think

Thor's "stupidity" due to his honor is a well known fact/factor in battles

Doom? tendency to lose to PIS sure but that man... is OP

MMH is pretty stacked but again not at all overrated just OP

Don't think WW has been a problem in that regard same as Supes

Juggernaut is overrated

DBZ characters' strength is overrated but at the same time their striking power, speed, skill and destructive force is massively underrated

Regardless of the five I suppose I'd settle on Doom. I just don't think the other 4 have ever really had an issue of being overrated.

I'm leaning towards Superman out of all the choices, though Hulk would easily be my choice out of all characters ever.

Hulk gets matched up with people way out of his league more than any other character I see on this forum.

WW - Somewhat both

Hulk - Leaning towards overrated

Doom - Overrated

Thor - Overpwered

None of the above; they are all pretty powerful.

Captain America is overrated...

He's a guy with NO super powers (just ''top'' physical stats) and yet he gets so much screen time, attention, respect, and status in the comics. Out of all the Avengers except for maybe Black Widow and Hawkeye... he would get stomped in any 1 on 1 setup (what can he do compared to Thor, Iron Man, or Hulk for example?).

At the end of the day... people don't seem to realize that he's just a guy on ''steroids'' and has above-average understandings of military tactics and strategy perhaps... hardly the overrated person he has become.

I mean come on... he is the epitome of Lame. You can't get much Lamer. A guy who calls himself ''Captain America (stupid name)" who is dressed up in stars and stripes and throws a shield around like a boomerang as a weapon? You really can't write a cheesier character...

Sure Batman has no superpowers but at least he is a BADASS. He is a very interesting character with his complex psychology, use of psychological warfare, understanding of criminals, and detective skills + complex moral code. He is a complex character with a dual identity (Bruce Wayne the playboy vs the Dark Knight). Plus he IS actually very smart... DC has written so many stories where his contribution is critical to the Justice League prevaling. He proves himself worthy as a human among superheroes (Superman etc) and it WORKS because he seems so real and looks so badass.

Captain America's got nothing like that... He's a lame one-dimensional character who is a patriot and a man of righteousness. THAT'S IT. He has no complex motivations or compex character, he has no super powers, he LOOKS bad/lame and yet he gets SOOO much glory and heads up.

I find he's nowhere as overrated as he possibly was before I started posting on the vine, most people are willing to admit he would lose against certain foe's. Remember Prep for Batman did include things like the insider suit.

I didn't list Hulk as a choice...cuz that's so obvious that he is the most overrated character ... Flash and Zoom too.

Thors become more of a jobber lately though, right? Just a punching bag for the bad guys to show how powerful they are. But its more that they're overpowered than they're overrated.

Personally, I think Wolverine although that might be because I think he's become too tame and is no longer the wild animalistic Logan that slashed everything.

I voted Thor, but Doom is actually the most overated when I thought it through. Overall characters though, HULK TAKES THE CAKE. Dude is Overated through the roof.

None of these are th most over rated but on the list it's Superman and Thor.

The overrating of most of the characters listed is only when people take their abilities out of character.

I always here Superman will speed blitz, but he never does because of his morals

Thor if he truly used the power of Mjilnor in every battle would be unbeatable. He doesn't because of his warrior pride and code.

Dr Doom abilities aren't overrated but in a battle stance everyone forgets that pesky arrogance that blinds him to things and causes his losses.

I also always her MM mind rapes but really his morals prevent him from that so damn often it's ridiculous

I'm not even sure why WW is here. She's been shown in several battles with Superman to be physically his equal. She has demonstrated speed and reflexes closer to Flash family members than anyone not a speedster. She has durability to match Thor ( and a healing factor on top of the blunt force durability). AND unlike all the others in character she has no compunctions against using her abilities to their maximum regularly.

She's defeated God's who were more in his fathers pay grade power wise ( on MANY occasions). I'd say it's more like she's underrated

I know WW is faster in combat speed, but I think Thor is stronger and Thor's durability feats are better, he never actually shows his upper limit of strength. And Thor has been holding back every time. What if both WW and Thor go blood-lusted?

Blood lusted Thor would use Mjilnor and that would give him the win by a slight margin. I wouldn't say he's stronger and while he does have greater piercing durability he doesn't have greater blunt force, if there is a discrepency her ehaling factor ( better than Logan's) makes up for it. She too can wield lightning ( courtesy of the bracelets) so no advantage there.

None of them are overrated. They just happen to be very popular with most fans, which makes a minority of people hate them.

how about the fighting skills and capability? Thor has far greater experience in combat than WW... if both of them have the same strength level.....then I might say that Thor has the advantage.

Well, somebody *cough*XImpossibruX*cough* did post incidents where Superman was beaten by Lobo and faked being beaten by Hawkman (out of context, so it looked like Hawkman really did beat him), being beaten by a reality warper, Atlas who was using magic, an out of context scan where it looked like he was one-shotted by Fernus.

Manhunter is my least favorite, though not the most over rated
