Going by just the comics though, I'd have to say Mandarin.

Bane (I've seen both, I'll just leave it at that).

Bane, I heard Mandarin's nerfed in the movie.

I don't wanna spoil anything, but let's just say i'm disappointed in both for the exact same reason. Bane was better, but they both still sucked.

Wasn't the Mandarin in the film just an actor?

Bane is a pretty impressive HTH fighter, but I think Mandarin's (assuming you mean the...final version) superhuman abilities should give him the edge and the win.

Technically the Mandarin is Aldrich Killian and he'd stomp Bane. I preferred the Mandarin

He didn't get nerfed.. But his origins did get altered. He's still awesome.

I prefer Mandarin over Bane and Mandarin would beat the s#it out of Bane easily.

It's actually been out in a lot of places outside of the states, hence why you get these early battles. As to this thread, it's not really a battle, if i read it right? It's an opinion based question, which villain do people think is better, so, doesn't really belong here.

The Mandarin would kill Bane with one karate-chop. He karate-chopped the leg off one armor and karate-chopped another armor in half.
