The only thing I've seen of New 52 Amazo was him being beaten off panel.

If he has the powers of the New 52 Justice League then he stomps. Mandarin wouldn't have a chance to use any of his rings before he just gets his head heat visioned off.

@dredeuced: @beyondergod:

1.of the rings grants superspeed

2.Idk if amazo can copy the abilities of objects

Bro Wields an exact duplicate of Wonder Woman's lasso and Green Lantern's ring

The rings do not grant Superspeed on the level of Flash or Superman, even the new 52 versions. It also doesn't grant the ability to react to heat vision.

Pre 52 Amazo could copy the ability of objects. New 52 I don't know. It doesn't matter, though, as Amazo greatly outclasses the Mandarin. There's like 10 different JLers who could solo the Mandarin, even in New 52. Giving their powers to Amazo is a mismatch.

If Amazo copies a Mandarin ring, would he wind up copying the part that allows Mandarin to transfer his mind to the new wielder? Or his ability to control the powers at a distance? I can see a potential for Amazo's own absorption powers being his downfall in a few matches. I can also see Influence and Remaker potentially tipping some fights.

In the end, Amazo is still just a robot, and despite the wide array of powers at his disposal, has never really been that good at using them. After the initial shock of seeing their own weapons turned against them, he's been a punching bag.

... Batman's even soloed one.

What? Amazo's become a nearly all powerful super being before and solo'd the entirety of the JL a couple times with only plot devices getting rid of him (Red Tornado's "soul" getting rid of Amazo and Superman disbanding the JL).

@tyger:

Batman's even soloed one.

In all fairness, Professor Ivo has built dozens of Amazos of differing power levels/abilities. Many of these "Minor Amazos" were given the ability to only duplicate 1-3 powers at a time and were designed to be a hindrance/stalling tactic to heroes or teams thereof (similar to how the "Doombots" and/or Ultron's titanium duplicates are used in Marvel. Both examples are formidable, but nowhere near as dangerous as the real thing). Likewise, these minor Amazo models are a lot less hardy than the original. It was one of these models that Batman and Nightwing defeated, not the "True" Amazo (who would have killed them both with little effort).

Hope this was helpful!:)
