It stopped because it has a definite range.....it was showed in Ghost Rider that if you get out of range it just automatically goes back to him.

Hmm makes a lot more sense now that i have seen the first two panels...however this forcefield doesnt just completely zap all the kinetic energy, its looks like it works gradually, and thirdly it seems like it would only work for inanimate objects which would only mean Sentry couldnt throw stuff at him, which wouldnt be effective anyway.

Do you know how fast the Hammer was moving? Would you like to prove that Thor threw that Hammer at light speed? He threw the Hammer at Ghost Rider once while he was on his bike. It took a while for the Hammer to approach him before he actually swerved around and caught it. Thor doesn't always toss the Hammer that fast. And, Juggernaut doesn't have superhuman reflexes. If the Hammer was moving at light speed, he wouldn't have been able to stop the Hammer with his force field. Plain and simple."
