The Joker with the Necronomicon vs. John Constantine

Since his escape from Arkham Asylum, the Joker has once again delved into the black arts, finding the Necronomicon Ex Mortis and studying it for a year and a day before attacking John Constantine to exert his newly-found mastery over the occult world. The battle takes place in Gotham City at a nightclub frequented by a dealer in antiquities who has been coerced by the Joker into acting as bait to lure Constantine into a impromptu wizard's duel. Constantine is aware that the situation might be a set-up, but has no idea who is behind it.

Con-John would probably call Mac and our favourite taxi driver for help. It is also very likely that some of his supernatural friend would stand ready to intervene just in case.

I think the joker would be tricked into revealing the source of his power and then deprived of it in a cunning way.

We might also see John annoy the Joker enough for him to cast a spell making the Ancients claim the Joker's life as a final price. I can quite easily imagine the story ending with the Joker trapped in the Ancients' dimension.

Constantine.

Constantine would probably talk Joker into killing himself.
