Tony Stark

vs

John Henry Irons

Toughest thing about this battle IMO is that both hero's have abilities that change on a sem-regular basis. I think, based of feets, Tony might just take this but John did some pretty impressive stuff particularly during his time with the JLA. So, no real rules to this battle. Feel free to site any canonical version of either character. Lets take a look at who's had the most powerful incarnation but also who would win in a battle on your average day of the week.

I'd say for most powerful incarnation of either, John Henry takes it with the Entropy Aegis armor

but on most random days, if the two were to meet up and have a fight, Iron Man would win.

The most powerful Iron Man armor was the Celestial Armor , which originally belonged to Ziran the Tester , and was designed to take on an IG-empowered Thanos(although it failed in that mission) .

Stark takes this. I love Steel but Tony is better, IMO

The Celestial Armor is not canon.

Doesn't matter , the OP mentioned the most powerful armor version of both(canonical background is not mentioned) . For Henry , its the Aegis armor, for Stark , its the Celestial armor .

Is the most powerful version also supposed to be canonical ?

What good would the Thor-Buster armor be against Steel? That specific suit of armor feeds off of mystical energies, something that Steel's abilities do not derive from.

I don't see any other armor then which could match up to Steel except for the Iron Destroyer .

Common misconception. The armor could feed off mystical energies but was powered by an Asgardian crystal that enabled it to tap into the same enchantment as Mjolnir, regardless. Thor gave it to Iron Man to energize the entire Earth, initially. So the armor is far from powerless.

Steel with Aegis armour wins. I don't see Tony putting even a dent into that Aegis armour.

My mistake then. Thanks for the correction.

Do you believe that the Thor-Buster armor is capable of defeating Steel?

@Illuminatus: I haven't read the story in which the Entropy Aegis armor appeared in. If EA Steel can do better than fight against a Skyfather evenly before losing or has some other special capabilities I am unaware of, he'd beat Thorbuster.

The Entropy Aegis armour was hugely powerful and durable, being formed from the remains on an Imperiex probe. To destroy the probes required high end DC powerhouses.

It oneshotted Superman with an energy blast IIRC.

Do you think that, that asgardian crystal has greater power than an Imperiex probe ? Because as far as I remember , that was what the Entropy Aegis armor was made from , along with Apokoliptian technology . Not to mention that it was a similar(practically identical) Imperiex probe that probably destroyed Warworld .

@TheGodKiller3: As I mentioned above, no idea. I never read the story so a conclusion would be entirely speculative on my part at this point.
