Rules/Scenario.

The Flood have laid waste to the Halo Uni & have arrived in mass to do the same to the WH40k Galaxy.

All that stands in their way are the followers of Nurgle.

Nurgle & great unclean ones do not take part in this encounter.

All out war for the Galaxy.

No time travel or BFR allowed.

Who takes this epic encounter?

I don't really know anything about Nurgles. I am inclined to vote for the flood due to the fact that one spore can eliminate an entire species, but the Nurgles might be stronger. Idk.

Nurgle can wipe out Solar Systems with a sneeze. Thats how potent his Reality Warping Viruses are.

@chaos_prime: well, that said, the demons will be stronger with so many rites( with the galaxy cleared of the rest Nurgle will dominate the warp, making his demons alot more numerous and powerful) this boost shall be very helpful.

Then, even if they where not corruptable, the flood is biological, so soon there will be a plague created for them.

And you need warp knowledge to stop warp-born plagues.

You still have a host of World level to Solar System(s) reality warping Daemon Princes and Greater Daemons. As well the Zombie Virus that is Warp Based and not Biological at all in nature.

The OP said that Greater Daemons weren't allowed, so as I said, the Flood curbstomp as they can create giant, reality-warping unbreakable strings that wrap around planets and crush them. Shit, the Flood themselves are pretty much as magical as Nurlge at this point.

Still have Daemon Princes, Alpha Pyskers, Sorcerers, ect. Still no counter against Warp Magic that reality warps the laws of science that the Flood are bound to.

All Flood become Nurgle Pague demons, and dance the eternal dance while singing praises.

Flood just cannot win nor have the feats/proof to resist Nurgles Magic Plagues, or Zombie Viruses.

Please watch the language & lets keep this civil.Yep no Nurgle in this encounter & no Great Unclean ones but the likes of Typhus & Nurgle Plague Towers, Plague Hulks, Blight Drones, Plaguereapers & thats not counting the Chaos fleet.

It always seems to boil down to magic with the 40k universe as I see it.

@eisenfauste: it NEVER does actually, if we're not talking about psykers or daemons.

Corax is a god to me.

Magic is not the end all be all. Many races like Tyranids, Orks, and Imperium of Man have no "Magic", and only Psychics. The Tau and Necrons have no Magics or Psychics, only tech. All these races can hold their own against the other. Only Chaos and Eldar have Supernatural Warp abilities that can be seen as "Magic" of any level.

Seriously though, the only Sci Fi fic of popularity that can beat Warhammer 40K I can thnk of is Dr. Who. After all, Warhammer 40K been around in the 80s. Way before Halo (Slight Rip off), Star Craft (Direct rip off), Mass Effect, or Dead Space. The only popular Sci Fi fiction before Warhammer 40K is Star Wars, Dr. Who, and Star Trek. Star Trek is limited to Science only, and Star Wars has a fantasy element in the Force, but over all not as all out or OP as 40K. Only Dr. Who with its Multiversal beings and war machines is OP over 40K.

40K is Sci Fi and Fanatsy. It been around a Looong time. It has more books, games, lore to it than any Sci Fi genre after it. So of course it has more going for it than Doom, Star Craft, Dead Space, Mass Effect (Great Game), or Halo. Just common sense.

Pretty much this 40K is OP as hell and only way to beat them is with even more ridiculous power

Pretty unfair match up. These "gods" in the warhammer verse are OP.

No Gods involved here.No Nurgle or Unclean ones.
