Just MCU+X-men with no prep? Ask again in a year or so. Right now the would-be big guns haven't done enough (or haven't appeared) to win a massive space/aerial battle.
Full Marvel movie U? Rider solos.
@nightway I didn't know that Palpatine was involved. Xavier would first no doubt notice that Vader is the most powerful mind in the invasion force, and engage in some form of telepathic combat, while the X-Men engage in combat with the Storm Troopers. Eventually the Storm Troopers and Vader will be taken out.
@tyger: It's not prep time, it's the amount of time to defeat the invasion force.
Or Xavier puts on Cerebro and kills the entire invasion force via brain death with his TP. Which was what he was effectively doing in X2. And if it involves Phoenix Jean, well she just disintegrates all of them with a thought.
They aren't bloodlusted. And Jean isn't Phoenix as of DOFP.
MCU takes it rather easy. If they are given everything at their disposal, then they use the Orb from guardians of the galaxy to blow up the death star.
...This is MCU Earth...
Thor Solo's now :p
Thor Solo's now :p
I haven't seen the movie yet, but I heard Thor busted a city. Is that true?
@stormshadow_x: I've seen this thread that was downplaying it, saying Thor has to exert himself and it was a chain reaction, not really just his strike.
Talk to @i_am_lightning he has a explanation of it.
"Friday says to Tony, the vibranium core has a magnetic field, keeping the City together. If Thor/Tony just deactivated the core, Friday states the city would simply fall apart, still leading to a massive deathtoll. An alternative is presented where Thor's power is used to vaporize the entire city AFTER Tony creates a heat seal that prevents Thors power from escaping the city and destroying the nearby helicarrier, meaning his power doubles back up. The core and engines are not destroyed, as you see them falling intact among the wreckage. So it is in fact Thors power that vaporizes the city"
Credits to Spector_Rand(he watched the movie 3 times so i trust him).
Heroes only. Read the OP.
@nightway: Weeeeellllllllll, technically he was a hero at one point, and did fight for the side of good and all that in DOFP, both in the past(temporary) and future.
Oh, and Jean Grey.
