The Empire invades the MCU

VERSUS

The Empire invades Earth and the MCU heroes must fight back against this threat. Can they succeed?

1. The heroes are determined to stop the Empire and are willing to kill.
2. This is the characters from the movies and TV shows minus the Guardians as they are not on Earth. This includes the Avengers, SHIELD, Daredevil, etc. The Empire is from the movies and current EU.
3. The MCU Earth get Spider-Man and the X-Men as a bonus. They also have assistance from the military.
4. The heroes have 6 hours to stop the invasion force or the Death Star arrives.
5. The Imperials have an invasion force of 5000(4700 regular troops, 300 special forces), 500 pilots, and Darth Vader. They have a Star Destroyer as a flagship. Their vehicles consist of 1000 AT-STs, 600 AT-ATs, and 500 TIE Fighters on the battlefield. Let's say the SD hovers seven thousand feet above the city.
6. Should the Death Star arrive, they have 1 hour to destroy it before it blows up Earth.

Hmm..Maybe I should extend the time until it comes. 1 hour is kinda short to fight off all of these troopers.

Even without the DS, Executor is too powerful imo to be destroyed by anything Earth has.

Also lol, that is a ridiculously low number of troops considering how many actually constitutes as an invasion force. Although seeing as the Empire is limited to movies, seeing as in the new EU they haven't really done anything...then alright sure.

Well, they have Hulk and Thor that could probably destroy it. About the troop thing, even with the Avengers, SHIELD, the military, Spider-Man, the X-Men, Daredevil, Blade, Vision, and others, they are still outnumbered. I didn't want the Empire to be too OP for them. Maybe if I add in villains it could be closer.

Bwahah the empire takes a sh*t on the MCU

MCU. Thor and Hulk can take out a bunch of ships and machines, and Vader isn't too much of a problem.

@nightway: Have MCU Thor or Hulk destroyed something as durable as the Executor? It tanked 3 ISDs blowing up at point blank without a scratch and it took the combined firepower of the Rebel fleet just to down the shields.

Not to mention, how are they even gonna get to it with all guns bearing down upon them and blasting them to slag? The Invasion force really doesn't even need to land anything, the Executor could just bombard the Earth and send out it's vast compliment of TIEs to lay waste.

Replace Batman and Superman with Cap and Thor.

@lukehero: Yes, but when has he ever mentally attacked so many people at once? Plus, the Death Star has an insane amount of people operating it.

Jean Grey could destroy most ships with her telekinesis, Professor X could also easly kill the chief commanders of the troops, the raw power of Hulk and Thur would also help.

@nightway: He could never do that without cebro. But, with Cebro in X2 he was gonna kill a massive amount of humans all at once.

That should be plenty of prep for Professor X, Beast, Stark, and Magneto to set Cebro to knock everyone out with a single mind blast from cebro.

Professor X isn't killing anybody, but with Cebro and prep they could set it to knock all of the star wars team out.

The Empire wins. The ground war'll be pretty bloody for both sides, though. Vader might even bite the dust. The MCU won't be able to take down the Executioner before the Death Star arrives.

Cool battle, though. Would be sick to watch.

What if I switch it out for a regular Star Destroyer or different ship? Would it make any difference?

@nightway: Too many powerhouses. Thor, Hulk, Vision, Quicksilver, Wolverine, Spiderman, Loki etc. Plus ALL the X-Men(Including Xavier.) Then we've got Cap, WS, SHIELD with Helicarriers. Combined with Ironman's genius, and Scarlet Witch 'No More Empire'

Deathstar would pose a threat, Vader and Palpatine pose none. While Prof X could Telepathically gather info on their plan and boom. DS disabled, everyone dead.

These are the heroes only. Scarlet Witch is featless. The MCU have no prep, just the amount of time to beat the invasion force, and Palpatine and Vader are resistant to TP...

@nightway: mmm, okay fair enough. Scarlet witch is obviously still going to be strong, despite a lack of feats...

@azterix_: Maybe. Though all we see in the trailers are her blasting Iron Man and destroying fodder Ultron.

@nightway: Fodder Ultron are pretty hard 2 defeat. I mean they still have his tech. Plus we know she's got some strong energy blasts. Anyways, one look at Hugh Jackman's biceps and the whole of the Empire's forces will run turn-tail. That was a mistake putting him on.

What are they going to do to the destroyer? All but a few of them are ground based, and the ones that aren't - Iron Man, Thor, Iron Patriot, and Falcon - are going to be overwhelmed pretty easily.

@nightway: Not really. None of the heroes, nor the combined forces of Earth could hope to take on any Imperial starship. They have next to zero means of actually attacking something in space.

The few things that CAN reach space, will be immediately roflstomped by the ship's vastly superior weaponry and defenses.

MCU stomps if its inside earth's atmosphere but has no way of attacking anything in space. If they could get a few guys like Hulk, Thor, and Ironman inside the star destroyer earth will have a huge piece of space junk floating around our atmosphere.

@nightway: Thanos Odin and the Celestials solo

Military will slow down the storm troopers. Eventually, Vader will be the last imperial standing, he will be overwhelmed, and the surviving heroes will make it onto shuttles. They will then board the Star Destroyer, in time for the Death Star to arrive. They will witness the awesome power of this battle station. Then, from the ground in Cerebro, Xavier will use his tp to mindrape the imperials in control. Then, the military will wind up sending in several villains to help, and Blonsky will make a mess of things. Magneto will be summoned, and with him and Xavier teaming up, the invasion will be turned around.

This is MCU Earth.. none of those guys are on Earth...

Are you sure? I think the Stormtrooper's armor might be completely bulletproof, like bounce off of the armor bulletproof, since the Star Wars equivalent of guns are ineffective against it. Plus there are still the vehicles that could probably wreck most of Earth's forces. Secondly, this is only the heroes fighting, and Xaiver isn't really prone to mindrape, even if he's determined. He isn't bloodlusted or anything.

@nightway: Even if Earth's military is ineffective, they would still slow the Imperials down. Dealing with all that cannon fodder would be time-consuming. Even if he isn't prone to doing such things, I think the total destruction if Earth would make Xavier explore his options.

@the_replicator: True. but the thing is, Vader and Palpatine have TP as well. They could probably fight back against this. Xaiver has to deal with the army laying siege his mansion, the giant ship already above them, and a moon sized space station. Can he do all of that at the same time?
