Location:

The Golden Gate Bridge. Unpopulated. Vehicles are abandoned and stationary.

Rules:

-Shooters are at the entrance to the bridge on the left.

-Each dodger will begin in the middle of the bridge.

-The shooters will not advance or fall back. They'll remain in position with the objective to tag the opponent.

-Dodgers have one simple objective: get to the other side of the bridge past the shooters. They CANNOT go under the main level of the bridge. However, they can go up.

-Who makes it the furthest and why?

The Shooters (or, the wall of death):

Cyclops (using individual blasts of standard size. No streams/removing the visor)

Deadshot (twin wrist guns)

Bullseye (unlimited assortment of bladed projectiles)

Hawkeye (standard assortment of trick arrows)

Punisher (heavy machine gun with no need to reload)

The Dodgers: (speculate on how each would fare in the scenario. They're not going in a group)

  • Daredevil (batons)
  • BuckyCap (shield)
  • Nightcrawler (distance restriction of 5 feet per teleport)
  • Nightwing (standard escrima sticks, grappling line and smoke pellets)
  • Batgirl (cassie)
  • Gambit (bo-staff, no cards)
  • Beast

Steve has the best bet IMO to get the farthest or Gambit actually. I'll provide a better response later covering everyone, Mr. K4tz.

Fairer without the Shield IMO.

I'd say

  1. Nightcrawler
  2. Daredevil
  3. Nightwing
  4. Gambit
  5. Beast
  6. Batgirl.

@Jorgevy: Shooters begin on the left, dodgers need to make it past them. The dodgers will begin in the middle of the bridge.

I find this a no-win situation. The shooters are way too good and intelligent and can use constant suppressive fire. It's like dodging rain drops in an open field during a rain storm - it's nearly impossible, even for the mentioned superheroes. Anyone who has played Counterstrike: Source Zombiemod definitely knows what I'm talking about.

Steve Rogers I think will get the farthest because he has a shield and can block the bullets if he crouches down, but still, Bullseye can probably ricochet bullets off the sides and get around the shield.

Nightcrawler would have a good chance if Cyclops was not one of the shooters. It's been commented at least a couple times before that Scott 'knows' his pattern. Where/when to expect Nightcrawler to teleport. He could use this to his advantage here to tag and take out the Elf.

Steve has the best chance in my opinion. His shield gives him a moving wall that he can manipulate at his leisure.

Cassandra Cain, I have seen better dodging feats from her.

Does Daredevil being able to sense nanosecond gap in time help? I think its safe to assume he has the best senses here, and agility as good as anyone.

@supertank111: Yes, it is indeed a no-win scenario.

During the Daredevil: The Guardian Devil story arc. Here's the scan if you are interested, he was able to find a nanosecond gap in the sound, but that does not mean he can move at nanosecond speed, that just means his senses are the best among the street levelers.

  • Daredevil - I think I can see him making it. Being able to sense the shooters' positions at all times would be an excellent advantage, and he's quick/agile as all heck when he needs to be.
BuckyCap - The shild provides a great advantage for him, but I'm just not sure if it's enough of an advantage. He might  make it, but I wouldn't put money on it.

Nightcrawler - As has already been stated, Cyclops knows Nightcrawler well enough to predict his 'ports. However, if NC's ports are restricted to 5 feet, I think that would be enough to change up his style
a bit. He might not be quite as easily predictable. I don't know how his run would play out.

Nightwing - he wouldn't make it. Everybody else so far has had some special trait working for them. Radar sense, shield, teleportation, etc. Nightwing is incredibly agile and all, but that's really all he's got going for him.

Batgirl - I don't know. I can't say I know enough about her to really say how she'd fare. She has those movement predicting skills and all, but I don't know how well that translates to predicting shooters from a long distance. I kinda want to say she's a lot like Nightwing. She's really fast and really agile, but she just doesn't have some extra special thing that could give her an edge.

Gambit - I think he could make it. Not only is he insanely agile and skilled, but he has the ability to shoot back. No cards doesn't necessarily mean no ammo for him.

Beast - I don't think he'd make it. Despite his superhuman speed and agility, even non-powered people like Grayson and Cassie have better dodging feats than he does.

I've seen people post those feats before, but I've heard a lot of mixed opinions on them. Some people say they're legit, and other people say they're PIS because it's literally impossible for a human being to move that quick.
I, myself, lean a bit towards the latter opinion.

@(((Prodigy))): Well she consistently does it, even though it is ridiculous just like any street lever reacting to bullets.

I think Nightwing would do pretty well.  Daredevil would definetly be the one to beat, though.

Thing is, most non-powered street levelers don't dodge bullets at all. There's a big difference between 1) moving fast enough that a shooter can't get a proper bead on you, and 2) moving fast enough to get out of the way of a bullet that's already headed directly at you.
Most street levelers just do the first option. The second option, which is far more impressive, is what Cassie was doing in those scans.
Even Spider-Man, who has legitimately superhuman speed/reflexes/agility plus a spider-sense can't always dodge bullets when they've already been fired.

@(((Prodigy))): Agree with what your saying but a lot of street levers do ridiculous things like deflect bullets and such, which is a superhuman level feat. I have no problem with them dodging the aim of the gun which is still hard to believe especially when the character is at a distance, but some of the other stuff they shouldn't be pulling off.
