The Corleones seemed a lot more organised and strategic, whereas the GSF were just a bunch of friends who shot people with their nine mils and hit up the local pizza joint.

Corloenes during Vito's reign was strong and influential but was a wee bit weak in the muscles department. I think the unpredictability of the GSF and their bold careless attitude would be enough to stalemate the Italian Family.

Corleones during Michael's reign would mop the floor with GSF blood.

This. Although It all depends on where the fight takes place.

With prep time Grove street can actually be very badass. Especially with cj leading them.

Same can be said for the corleones. Especially When aldo became Don of New York

Although i think the corleones would win...
