The Beast vs. The Lizard

Hank McCoy against Curt Connors. No weapons (except whatever weapons of opportunity might be laying around). No prep. The Lizard is on a rampage in Union Station in St.Louis, Mo., & The Beast happens to be nearby to respond. The result is a knock-down drag out brawl to the death. Who takes it?

Current Lizard obliterates Beast.

He was able to speed blitz Spidey rather easily right?

Yup. Beast isn't very combat oriented in the first place, and going up against somebody who is faster than Spider-Man with a great healing factor won't ease the transition.

Kurt tears Hank apart.

The blue coat Lizard is going to get should be mighty warm.

Wow. So, sounds like pretty much a landslide curbstomp. And here I thought I'd made a pretty decent match-up. F*ck me, right?

With prep Hank is fairly dangerous, and Lizard has some glaring weaknesses (being cold blooded and all). But in a straight up random, as everyone has pointed out, Hank is pretty much reptile food.

@jacob_xiv: Watch the curse words for future reference. Censor them if you use them, please.

@wolverine08: wait, what? Beast is extremely combat oriented. He's been part of the task force since the beginning, and trained a good portion of the x-men roster. He may lose here, but I disagree that he'll be a pushover.

He wouldn't have been one shotted by Wolverine in Enemy of State, and been afraid to even confront Logan if he was extremely combat oriented. Hank has the potential to be an effective combatant due to his great stats, but he has unfortunately always let his stats do all the barking for him, and has never delivered any bite.

Lizard has pretty much every advantage(that matters in a fight).

I'm thinking Kurt should take a very handy majority here, but I'm curious about what @floopay has up his sleeve that makes him see this match as so one sided.

is beast atleast strong enough to damage lizard?

10 tonner and more agile than the lizard, but he does seem to mostly jump around, distract, and hit lightly rather than put down tough opponents.

I thought beats was stronger than spiderman? lizards is only slightly stronger right. I think beasts can win morals off but other than that lizard probably takes it

@jacob_xiv: You made a decent match up no worries, Its not an utter stomp. I believe the morals off feral version of beast would make this a good fight. The tipping point is the healing factor. Lizard has awesome one and beast doesn't have one to speak off. Lizard would eventually win probably around 8/10

I imagine he would have similar issues spider-man has had.
