The Avengers vs the X-Men

Everyone who's ever been an Avenger vs everyone who's ever been a member of the X-Men. Characters are their current power levels. If the character is currently dead, then they are resurrected with whatever powers they had before their death. Anyone who has been on both teams will be duplicated. So, for example, there will be two Wolverines, one fighting for the X-Men and one fighting for the Avengers.

X-Men 
- Jean Grey 
- Rachel Grey 
- A whole lot of Greys 
- Throw in some Summers 
- A couple of Rasputins  
- Sprinkle some Frost 
- A dash of Lehnsherr and Xavier 

X-Men.

Throw in Legion...

I think Jean can be the deciding factor in favor for the X-men. But Sentry..

AVENGERS.

Too many uber powerful characters to consider. My mind explodes. So I say the whole universe explodes.

Thor, Sentry, Hulk, Ms. Marvel... was Silver Surfer ever an Avenger?
 
 Was Jean ever a full fledged member while having COMPLETE control over the Phoenix?
 
I also don't believe there was ever a time that X-man Juggernaut was at full Cyttorak power
 
I would go Avengers, I don't think Scarlet Witch ever was an X-man, and I believe Strange was an Avenger at one point. Starting to get really lopsided.

X-Men.

Jean grey dark phoenix or phoenix green costume, rachel summers, hope summers (broke a dome the avengers including thor couldnt smash through), legion (people keep forgetting him) can destroy universes, X-man, juggernaut, current Colossus, magik who is sorcerer supreme in limbo...x-men had binary as well, warlock, Magneto

X-men

Whoever wins, the Earth loses.

Do not forget the forgotten one.

Does Jean get WPOTC Powers because if so no contest she wipes all the Avengers at once also as said earlier the rosters are too long.

Jean is WPOTC currently.
Then we have Legion.

Avengers have HOM Wanda, but X-men win.

And even HOM Wanda doesn't have any feats that indicate she can't be KO'd by a speedster.

Wanda says, "No more X-Men."

WPOTC says, "Hehe! That tickled."

X-Men win via Jean uberness.

That was her most recent incarnation right? Yeah, unless I missed something that came afterwards, she would be WPOTC.

Marvel is probably setting up the mutants as the most powerful race in the marvel universe with all these omega mutants, secondary mutations and connections to magical and cosmic entities. Franklin, Legion, Jean, plus the history of the x-men with the phoenix force, Limbo and now Cyttorak...

professor X solos and mind freeze everyone or mind control half of the avengers,causing them to fight among themselves

Wolverine, Beast, and cant think of anyone else at the moment

I'm all for a good rumble, but threads where there are so many variables give me headaches. Unless, of course, there's a cosmic on one side who could solo. Then it's guaranteed practically.

X-MEN

Sentry solos with the level of speed he possesses, Quicksilver will take out a vast majority of the X-Men due to his current level of speed, Thor will finish off the rest.

Was Scarlet Witch ever in an X-team or just the Brotherhood? Cause I'm thinking her at her absurdly powerful levels would give the Avengers the win.

I think if he was on the cover of JLAvengers #3, he was. Busiek does his homework.

Rule of thumb: Marvel characters have been Avengers and DC characters have been JLers (exceptions, of course).

I think Namor has been an Avenger. I think he has been on most teams. Invaders, Defenders, Avengres and the X-men

it would depend, but i think the x-men. of course, there are many variables to consider. someone mentioned the speedters on the avengers; well, the x men have northstar, and in one of the most recient issue of x-men legacy it was said by dr. nemesis that northstar had picoseconds. i believe it was something like this: " northstar would be ready. we need picoseconds reaction to our favor". well, something like that. about the sentry, there are a few x-men that can take him out. but nate is not in his shama levels anymore and cable was not in his god mode before he died. although, i have seen that he was brough back, but i don't know in what levels he is. anyway, i'm pretty sure legion can take the sentry, if not give him trouble.

Everyone resurrected, there's so many reality warper vs HOM Wanda and unless we buy into "the power of the beyonder was nothing compared to the power of the life force" i say she goes down hard against the likes of Legion, Jean and so on.

If the X-Men get all their other X-*insert title here* team members they should stomp!
