It was Adam Warlock and the issue would be Adam Warlock and Infinity Watch 01. Living Tribunal did not stop him or anything, per say, but rather convinced him to give up his godhood because :
1. Warlock was judge mentally unfit to wield that powers, unlike Thanos.
2. LT was willing to fight, while LT himself though he would win he mentions a fight between LT and Warlock would lay waste to the reality because of which Warlock agrees to give up his godhood. I have seen people claim LT stopped IG with a wave of his hand here in comicvine not sure where people get that garbage.

Issue reference to when this happened, or a scan please. I have read every infinity series and certainly dont recall that happening. In fact Thanos with IG never even faces LT.
But Thanos was only warned by the Living Tribunal. He lost the Gauntlet by Nebula. Nebula lost it to Warlock and then Warlock had to deal with the Living Tribunal

But one of the Gems were switched off with a fake Gem.

Based on? The 7 Gems were mentioned in but 1 story arc, Warren Ellis Ultraforce. And all that was ever stated was the ego gem turned IG from a weapon into a sentient being of creation (Nemesis). Not to mention because infinity gem gained sentience themselves Nemesis herself was weakened.
- 6 Gems might = the Living Tribunal which is what I suspect one of the Gems were switch off, to help Tribunal.
Second part is correct the first part unlikely. LT should still be above IG, while they have not fought LT sat there determining whether he could face and wrestle the IG from Warlock and decided he can. I dont see why LT would have lied about something like that. Also IG best feat only puts it at universal + powerhouse, well much much higher than universal but LT is megaversal i think lack of feats and a statement for LT has convinced me IG be it with 6 or 7 gem < LT

I know where you are coming from. LT did rule against an incomplete IG wielded by Magus, which was missing the real reality gem, although after gaining godhood Magus did even realize the gem he got was fake, horrible writing. LT ruling was the gem would never work in unison while in recent Fantastic Four: War of 4 Cities it was revealed that IG still works in unison. So make of that statement as you will, IG from 616 hasnt been used after Infinity Wars though all we have is a statement from Reed and Tony.
But all 7 Gems together, the Living Tribunal fears, that's why the Ego Gem is stored away in the Malibu Universe and not Marvel's main continuity.
While i dont remember where it was ever stated Living Tribunal fears the power of Nemesis, its a minor detail which i likely missed. However Nemesis hasn't done jack to warrant her being above LT. Her best feat was de-creating 2 universes (Ultraverse and 616) in a blink of an eye, and then she gets cut in half by Black Knight a street level LOL. Her energy is released and few universes are re-created. Then we have few gems going haywire, on their own, during Ultraforce Infinity creating various realities (universes). I certainly dont think ability to create universe is sufficient to grant them a status above LT.
