O.K. for the record, the OP stated Thanos has the HOTU within the DCU, the OP has set the rules! Thanos has it and it WORKS in the DCU, can he take it over, is what he wants to know? So, lets go by the op and not make our own stuff up, stick to what the op has set and stated in the battle. It's pointless debating whether it would work or not, cause that was not the question! The question was, can Thanos with Hotu take ontrol/destroy the DCU, the answer is very probable, if he can get past beings like Lucifer and Michael!

Thanos with HOTU is above LT , but not TOAA. Thanos need TOAA and LT to win with DC. (Presence + Spectre = TOAA - because Spectre use Presence power). Lt will destroy others with Thanos. Even Lucifer and Michael for me.

Lucifer and Michael together are basically the embodiment of Creation/Destruction in the DC Actuality... there is nothing Thanos could do to them... it would be like fighting The Presence itself...
Highly doubt that. They completely lack the feats. Like I said, it took Lucifer using Michael just to make his own universe, which meant that both of them lacked the power to do it themselves. With just the IG Thanos could do that on a whim. The HoTU makes the IG look like a toy out of K-Mart.

I dont doubt it. 5th Dimensional Imps can create and destroy Universes and they are lower than The Spectre, Lucifer, Michael... it was part of the writing why they couldnt do it... they dont lack the power...

Becausethey would both be the author of all that is in their Actualities and therefore equal in power.

There's no maybe. If Thanos is equal to One Above All holding the HOTU, then why wouldn't the Presence be able to stalemate him? One Above All and Presence are the same, just in different universes.
