I know very little about Trigon, but i'm pretty sure he's at least Skyfather level and Thanos lost to Odin. Yes it's ABC Logic, but hey YOLO

Trigon pretty much stomps him I think. Trigon is a multiversal threat. He can destroy a universe with the flick of his wrist. Him just entering the universe almost destroys it. Thanos isn't on that level without cosmic weapons.

I agree entirely, but a friend is a stubborn, die-hard Thanos fan. I presented him with the fight and some Trigon feats, but he still said Thanos. So I said, to Comicvine we go! Trigon would muderstomp him I think.

Thanos wins for the fact he isn't wearing white thigh high boots. Seriously who thought that costume was a good idea?

This was made to piss off Thanos fanboys (quite a few) or because the OP has extremely limited knowledge on either character. Trigon is practically DC's version of Cyttorak (imo). Thanos is a powerful alien that's an extremely intelligent strategist and powerful manipulator. I thought those were dimensions, if i recall...
He wins this battle, however i strongly believe it stated he destroyed dimensions, rather than universes.
If i'm wrong, that's my mistake.

Trigon should win pretty handily. I believe his power level was compared to that of the Spectre at one point.

This battle should be locked it is spite.
