He could probably do it. He punches more harder than Superman can and his durability is more stronger than Superman could ever manage to handle but he just doesn't have the speed to keep up with him. "

Thanos gets stomped badly. Without any power amps or prep, regular Superman would beat Thanos with ease. Prime is just massive overkill.

Thanos' natural power source is Lady Death just like Superman's natural power source is yellow radiation. He will kill Superman without the Infinity Guantlet or little trinkets like the Cosmic Cube. "

Thanos as superman is Herald level not on silver surfer level but close & thanos is far above that but thanos wouldn't win instantly but he'd get the job done with prep time even faster .
