No, Silver surfer had to drain him of his Gamma radiation because Hulk was too powerful like Surfer said.
Read the comic. The Silver Surfer wasn't even trying to hurt Hulk. He actually wanted to help him. He held him back easily with the power cosmic, Hulk couldn't touch him because he moved too fast, and then he knocked him out with a simple cosmic blast. He was about to permanently change him back to Bruce, but Hulk hit him so the Surfer flew away.

Then you obviously don't understand Thanos very well at all, if you think he's at the same level physically as Mentor? He's leagues above mentor physically/powerwise, you do realize he's augmented himself over the years?
Meastro wins due to the fact he killed galactus and eternity lol without the infinity gaunlet, so how is thanos going to win?
Also it was in the comic when professor hulk went to the future to stop meastro and future rogue or storm told hulk that every item he sees that belongs to a hero or villain are people he personally killed and in the trophy room you see the head of galactus and the cape of eternity.

@hiddenlight: thanos stomps at the minute. Although this time next year this fight could swing the other way, seeing as maestro is going to be pushed up the pecking order with his new comic and given a new suit of armour that could take away thanos's versatility edge.

I agree, but I hope that Thanos receives more respect in the post secret wars, the Namor punch really turned me down.
