I admit I've missed a lot of comics with Galactus in it, but DAMN how much of a punching bag IS HE?! It's like every other thread I see "Well if you recall (insert anyone's name) beat Galactus liek a little girl and made him cry. Is Galactus just power fodder for feats? Black Panther beat his ass right? Sure screw it, he owned him with an armlock! Amrlock > Power Cosmic. WTF is going on with Galactus?

This is King Hyperion at his highest form (when he absorbed Holocaust) I think he woudl be a good battle for Thanos But I say Thanos would win in the end He just can't match the tactical mind of Thanos
after king hyperion absorbed holocaust he still got rocked by bunch of b list exiles. then blink exploded him by sand thanos ftw, just like king hyperion he can take on 2 hyperion from some alternate universes any day of the week, and he can do much more.

yea alot of them got killed in ways they wouldnt....heck colossus, who normally doesnt need air to breath, "finally ran out of air" in space as his way of dying...iceman was shattered...wolverine who has had his skinned burned off in how many comics and lived, was killed by heat vision etc...so its all kinda questionable.
ye thers not many feats for king hyperion except being able to handle 2 weaker versions of himself, everyone he killed could of easily been weaker than normal versions like u said and beating galactus was probalby like beating a 1% galactus,\
@Valtot: in his defense, he did kill all the heros in his own dimension first, so i'd assume they were on par with him unless we was just super strong and they all sucked
King Hyperion is absolutely mean and ruthless but Thanos can match him in these traits. King Hyperion has an big advantage in speed and a small one in strength. Durability is similar/comparable. Thanos is arguably the most cunning villain (Dr. Doom also comes to mind) in the Marvel Universe and King Hyperion seems to be overconfidant.
Thus, Thanos wins due to his cunning and KH's overconfidence.
Thanos. he's tangled with high-tier cosmics like surfer,Galactus,Tyrant, and others. These guys would make Hyperion look like a fool

Tyrant: He fought a depowered Tyrant, who is below Skyfather level. Beyonder: Pure PIS. Silver Surfer: SS is not in Thanos league, he's close but not that close. Thanos still outclass him. Odin: If you mean by matching power with Odin getting his ass kicked the whole fight, then yeah, Thanos matched power with him. Galactus: He attacked Galactus by surprise at full power and all he did was blowing up his helmet. Then 5 minutes later, he was begging for his life and for Galactus to spare him.
