I agree that the team wins however i don't see MM taking him alone in any way. Thanos beats Silver surfer on regular basis (a tougher opponent than MM) and as previously stated was a match for SS, Thor and Hulk at the same time.

@rd2race: MM could take on the JLA alone there is no reason he couldn't take on thanos.

@Immortal777: What is MM going to do that the Silver Surfer can't? Thanos beat the Silver Surfer to death with his fists. I doubt MM hits harder than Thor/Hulk, even if he hits AS hard, he definitely doesn't hit harder. Surfers can also become intangible, he's gotta be as strong, travel speed tops him, reflex speed is at least on par, Surfer energy blasts outclass MM's in any way feasible. He also has matter/energy manipulation, and She-Hulk's punch to his face had no effect.

Thanos might be able to take this, speed blitz or no, Thanos had handled speedsters. I mean the team might be able to pull a win, SS, Thor, and Hulk are powerful, but this team gives not only a numbers advantage, but might (MIGHT) give them enough power to put him down. I'm sticking with Thanos.

Thanos would STOMP Martian. He takes heavy shots from galaxy busters like Odin, and shrugs it of. Martian has zero chance 1 on 1.

• Round 1 team is the favorite. But Thanos has the ability to one-shot most on team. Good fight!
• Round 2 Thanos curb-stomp

@Greendevil: Really? Hercules, MM, and Hal are some of the strongest guys in the Universe. When you turn morals off, you have a crazy Martian, Hal, who single-handedly beat the Green Lantern Corps when he was the Parallax, and Hercules, who's...well...Hercules haha

Dude i know these characters. Morals on or off wont matter if Thanos has 15 min prep. The guy is a genius and makes Dr Doom and Mr Fantastic look like retards. And he is just below sky-father in power. Has some of the sickest durability and offensive power. He also has shields that can take multiple shots from Champion (an elder of the universe) with the power gem of infinity. Thanos has matter manipulation so as Kcaz said, phasing wont help.

Thanos takes cosmic shots from Surfer without flinching. He has awesome TP and TK. I think he is like 6000 years old or something. Thanos has both excellent TP and TK. Can shoot Plasma and cosmic energy from his eyes and hands. He fought Thor with warrior madness (= Thor x10) with the power gem of infinity

Magneto and Vision will both get 1 shotted. Hercules will also be 1 shotted (or BFR)

Hal Jordan has nothing on Thanos. His constructs will break just as his will. Thanos is a nightmare for Galactus and his Heralds including Silver Surfer.

Martian is the only one he will struggle with. But not as much as you think. There is no Speed blitz (the most effective weapon for the Martian) Thanos has the ability of teleportation and could if need be BFR Martian to the center of the sun. But imo he just needs to connect 1 or 2 punches/energy blasts and Martian is out.

Again, in round 1 Team has a solid chance. But in round 2 they are absolutely out gunned!

@Greendevil: I wouldnnt sell the team short here though I think most people arent knowledgeable about Thanos.

Thanos. I don't see Magneto's powers working on Thanos. I don't see Martian hold him by TP. Vision already was one-shotted when he tried to go through Thanos. I also don't know how Hal energy attacks will do any harm to Titan. 
 
To be serious - only Martian is a problem and only temporary one IMO.

I think people here are selling Thanos short.

I dont know why people keep bringing Silver Surfer vs Thanos fight to show Thanos is stronger, truth is Thanos is just not only stronger he's leagues above Silver Surfer. Probably 3 or 4 times more powerful than him. I say this because he held his own againt Tyrant (depowered version of course, orginal version would just kill him) and Tyrant who was holding his own against a team of Silver Surfer, Terrax, Gladiator, Beta Ray Bill and Jack of Hearts, was easily beating them before Galactus intervene.

Seeing how easily he beat surfer in Cosmic Power Unlimited 1, and seeing how Thor's attack couldnt even do jack againt him his durability is just awesome.

Martian Manhunter is the only one who could do a lot against Thanos, I dont think his telepathy is strong enough to TP Thanos, the real problem is speed.

Thanos can with both rounds here.
