Yeah, what about it? That version didn't use a personal shielding system either(assuming we're referring to the 2013 series).

That changes nothing, as it's the same version(best I'm aware of).

@xiix: He's talking about the infinity guantlet series from '91 (the one that is pretty much always referred to with infinity Thanos). Thanos had his shields and they were always active. Nobody disagrees with you about his current usage of shields. Just calm down.

Infinity and Infinity Gauntlet are two different series. Why do you assume he's talking about the infinity gauntlet when Infinity is much more recent and the explicit name of a separate series?

@dredeuced: Because 90% of the Thanos battles on this site include people assuming he is wearing the gauntlet, even if the word infinity is never mentioned. It's like people assume that Thanos permanently has the thing on him. That's why when they say infinity I assume gauntlet until stated otherwise.

It's kind of ridiculous a character has to specifically stated to not have an item that he only ever had once, but since that is the case I assume IG story Thanos whenever Infinity is mentioned though I don't ever assume he is wearing the IG.

Actually I don't recall anyone ever using Thanos from the most recent Infinity series.

No they don't. The vast majority of Thanos fights are just normal Thanos fights. The only time you see people put up Gauntlet Thanos is when they put him up against other omnipotents.

Infinity is current Thanos. If he wanted to say infinity gauntlet, non-IG Thanos then...that'd be Thanos Quest Thanos, not Infinity Thanos. Anytime someone says "Thanos" without clarification then it would be current Thanos, as per the rules. You're adding a word to his statement that's not there and making like 5 extra assumptions.

Which flash also new 52? If it's wally pre 52 he takes it.
