Anyways, Thanos can win this easily with his Gauntlet on inside the Marvel Universe. Without it.. I know he can still win. See; Dr. Fate may have variety of powers, but his true strength is his magic. But despite that; he's not nor ever has been as powerful or as accomplished as Dr. Strange, whom too was in the Infinity Wars having trouble battling Thanos with everyone else.

And there's alot of advantages Thanos has over Dr. Fate.

• He's Smarter
• Has an incredible Reaction time (In fact Thanos can sense his opponents attacks "Light Years" before the execute it --or so he says)
• He's way stronger than Dr. Fate
• Has ultra fast Reflexes for a "big guy"
• And doesn't need a relic of some sort to amplify his powers (As of Dr. Fate with the Helmet of Nabu)
• Has worthiness to present himself to Omnipotent/Omniscience being as he wishes 

So in a random encounter... Thanos would win... If prep-time is allowed? Thanos Reigns last week before you even posted this thread.

I find it hard to believe in the slightest that you even read comic books at all. How old are you? 10? I bet you research alot before typing alot of your "facts". Wikipidia all you want because I can tell you tis right now.

Despite, what you read (due to research), you will never know the true fight between the two. Thanos is nearly in par to Odin, but he's also beyond smarter. If you ever read the book, you would see and understand that Thanos was merely testing Odin just for the fun of it. And if you know Thanos even in the SLIGHTEST!! You would understand that, he wants to be killed just to be on the right side of Lady Death. So he was testing Odin's Power... AND ODIN doesn't have the necessary Power to kill Thanos, so Odin wins by the fault.

Here's another example of Thanos "playing around". He spars with Gamora and Drax. Gamora beat Thanos, right? But can she really beat Thanos in a serious fight? No...

So you're proven wrong once again. Take it and leave. You're finished.

If this Dr Fate (with Nabu at the controls - taking possession of the host body) at his most powerful, then he wins as he has been able to fight the power of the Spectre (for a few minutes) and tap in to and manipulate energy from Darkseid and High Father. His baseline powers include superhuman strength (but nowhere near that of Thanos), superhuman durability and telekinesis.
If this is Fate at lower power levels (with Nabu as an advisor to the helmet wearer), then Thanos poses a substantial threat.

Never forget than Nabu was a Lord of Order, meaning that he was an ancient, incredibly wise and vastly intelligent being, who advised the wearer of the helmet (when not taking them over) on every thing from courses of action to spell selections.

classic surfer was created to be less than 0% of a full galactus power. sufer now is still less an 0% of a full powered galactus. as for this fight. thanos lost, but he wasn't screaming like a little bi^&h as poopoo breath mentioned. odin just relized that thanos wasn't rsposible to for thor's insanity. so he just allowed thanos and sufer to walk away. actually it was thanos' good deed to even bring thor back over there. and if he wanted to, he could of destoryed asgaud all all it's gods becuase thanos at that point of the story had the power gem so since thanos couldn't find any other gem in asguard, he had no point of being there in the 1st place. he was just bored and wanted to stop by asguad just to say hi to the old fella."
