Depends. If Doomsday can adapt quickly he wins but,if he doesn't Thanos. But eventually Doomsday will come back immune so I'll give it to him.

Not if he is erased from existance. You can't come back from that. But I don' think Thanos can do that without the gauntlet.

Thanos stomps here. This is a spite battle. Thanos is physically superior, infinitely more powerful, has a host of abilities like dimension dumping, that would work. He's defeated one Skyfather and stalemated two others. Seriously? Doomsday? Seriously?

Superman isn't even close to Thanos physically. Nor is Doomsday. Thanos slaps around people with not just planet busting, but star busting power. Not to mention that Thanos doesn't even need to use his physical abilities. With pretty much indestructible shields and so many abilities even Martian Manhunter would go man, that seems a little ridiculous, Thanos can do anything he wants from dimension dump to tossed into a black hole. Again...Skyfathers. When Doomsday kills a few of those then we can talk. Thanos stalemated Odin. This is just silly. Doomsday evolves to not be killed by Thanos in one way. He gains a healthy respect and fear for him, and stays away.

I love Thanos, amazing design, great character... But under his own power, without the buff from Death, without the cube, HOTU, and gauntlet, he cannot "beat galactus, snap his fingers and destroy half the universe, etc"

Thanos has amazing feats in terms of durability, cunning, energy absorption, protection, projection, combat skills, knowledge, he's a cosmic level genius, he's fought Galactus and lived. he injured Galan, but we don't know how fed he was, etc. He bested the elders of the universe, which is no small feat. and on multiple occasions he's crippled the universe. He's a threat far and wide, but this is base thanos vs doomsday.

Now, is this as much of a stomp everyone thinks it is... No... These are two of my favorite characters... But we're forgetting that Doomsday pimp smacked Darkseid around... Darkseid had looked like Jimmy Olsen fighting Doomsday. Both characters have impressive feats. In h2h Doomsday could come out on top, but is Thanos going to do that? No...

Thanos is far too smart to engage him, even if he hadn't known what he's capable of, after a couple of exchanged blows, I'm sure Thanos would know he's not ****ing with him in close quarters, it's time to rethink the battle.

Thanos is just too cunning. But I'm not going to say Thanos stomps, it's a nice battle.

Galactus was well fed in that scenario, that is one of the few fights that specifically mentionis he was well fed.

What's with all these people saying that Doomsday wins? He may be able to come back immune, but Thanos is immortal, and he can take more than Doomsday can bring. DD has no way of beating Thanos, while the Titan is one of the most resourceful characters in comics. He can just throw DD in a black hole and get done with it. Doomsday can't come back from that.

While I wouldn't say " hold a candle to Surfer " terms of physical stats alone, yes Surfer is physically stronger and more durable than Kryptonians in that he blows up multiple planets as a side effect of colliding with another dude/ chills inside black holes without so much as a scratch etc

Oh and Thanos murderstomps. No version of Doomsday is ever beating any version of Thanos. Like ever.

@stevon: I think that while Thanos does have a distinct tech and does not need to adapt to someone's moves, Doomsday has been put through physical, mental, and energy torture. He would be invulnerable to Thanos's attacks.

Depends on what version of Doomsday it is. H/P was for all intents and purposes unstoppable, which was why they had to leave him at the end of time, since it was the only point he couldn't return from.
