Thanos vs. Doctor Fate

Round 1 - No Infinity Gauntlet. Current Doctor Fate.  
Round 2 - Infinity Gauntlet. Classic Doctor Fate. 
 

#1 Fate. I don't think the Titan can handle Fate's magic.
#2 Thanos. Classic Fate is Strange-esque (or more). Strange cannot do jack against IG. I don't know if Fate can do much better. Warlock (with IG) flicked Eternity away.

I've never seen one feat from Fate that could imply a victory over Thanos. Especially feats that put him over an IG Thanos

I'd imagine Fate wins the first round but the second seems extremely close. I'm not sure.

Fate should take Round 1 since Scarlet Witch gave Thanos trouble without the IG. Round 2 I could see Thanos taking rather easily.

@kidman560: @highaccuser: I know cartoons aren't canon but on a episode of SHS the avengers couldn't beat Thanos and they had to get help from Wanda to beat him

1) I need a solid example of Thanos resisting a character's magic on par with Fate. I don't think Thanos has taken Strange head on has he? Until then, I give it to Fate.

Actually, I change my mind. Thanos' willpower is second to none. I have forgotten about his fights with Warlock and Magus. He smashes Fate into oblivion.
