You can vote for whoever you want thats ok But the fact is DS is more powerful then Thanos Physically they are about even
But DS has a wider array of powers including the omega beams
i go with thanos at least nypd r actually more a threat then stair one step up the threat lvl. i dont know why ppl use DS smacking supes as a strength feat doesnt really show real strength capacity

The problem is u darksaid guys relay on him "being able to take superman punches" and even go far enought to say "thanos can't " but the fact is there is nothing to back up that afirmation, u show us a scan of superman defeating thanos or get a better argument =x
and about the "a wider variety of powers give you the victory" thing I'd ask you, would u challeng some1 wielding a gun if u had only a swiss army knife? it has like 10 more functions utilities than the gun =x so, by ur logic, it should give you the victory

PostCrisis Superman is much weaker, he needed huge effort just to break a Moon, he is much slower and less durable than Pre Crisis Superman. However post crisis Superman is still strong enough to destroy Post Crisis Darkseid with just 3 punches....sometimes even less than 3 punches

lol at Drax being stronger than Supes.............Post Crisis Loses to Thanos....but imma take the version i see far.....Darkseid wins.....oh and do i have to bring up SG?
Guys....If you put all the facts....it is pretty much clear that Thanos will win. Thanos is much much stronger than Thor and Mangog. Thor was never able to match Thanos physically. Darkseid was defeated by Superman who is slightly stronger than Thor or may be equal to Mangog. Of his height , Thanos is the physically the strongest in MU and he's been described a way ahead of Darkseid in terms of power level and physical strength.
@sesaw: You know Darkseid beat the crap out of Superman anyday. He fought the whole Justice league once and they had to bfr him. Superman>Surfer in any condition, a Superman who holds back busts planet witth his strength and a mad Superman who goes all out is like Hulk, he becomes stronger and his eyes turns red. A heat vision to the face would knock Thanos out while Darkseid took it all day. Read some Comics
Darkseid is stronger to me but his power fluctuates to much. Thanos is more consistent but also uses prep to boost his power for some of his feats. It seems that Thanos is more energy based while Darkseid fighting style centers on physical combat. But for me the Omega based powers should tip the balance in Darkseid's favor as long as he isn't jobbing. (Omega Beams,Omega Sanction...)
But in reality it could either way depending on DS is being portrayed as just a Superman villian or something more
Pure strength: Tie: both incredibly strong, both shown feats of great strength during battle so I can't decide.
Physical endurance: Thanos: even though Darkseid has taken hits from Superman, Thanos has taken hits from Thor, Silver Surfer and other crazily powerful people, so, (even though I'm a DC lover myself) I have to go with Thanos on this one, plus I believe that as a bonus to his Physical endurance, Thanos has the upper hand in H2H combat as he out manuevered and out fought Champion and trained Gamora who is one of the best H2H fighters in the MCU, Darkseid has only been known to beat Superman on occasion through his raw power and near invincibility to Supermans attacks. Thanos wins this one...
