@Xi Felix: He casually pimp smacks heralds. Darkseid does at times as well, but he loses to them at times. Thanos has only lost to Thor once and that wasn't a loss really. The others were all clones. In Final Crisis, Seid would have lost to Superman were it not for him activating the kryp inside of Olsen.
Darkseid casually imprisons entire pantheons of greek gods. You're right, he didn't really get "beaten" by Thor........because he ran from Thor, got a weapon, and came back.
Yes, Darkseid has lost to Superman. But not nearly as many times as Superman has lost to him.
Look, I ain't a Thanos hater, or Darkseid fan, but Thanos simply doesn't have extremely impressive feats outside of acquiring devices of great power and using them. The closest he has is physically beating down Silver Surfer and even then 1) Darkseid could EASILY do the same(in probably fewer blows). 2) That feat in and of itself is somewhat dubious because of Surfer not utilizing his split-second reaction speed, or in any way fighting back from what I remember(because I believe Thanos blind-sided him).
He has done more. And one more thing. Thanos is actually a rip-off of Metron. He just looks like Seid a bit.

I never thought he was a rip-of of Metron. Always thought he was a DS Ripoff and Mongul ripped him off. Thanks for the info.
@Xi Felix: That was Warrior Madness Thor WITH the POWER GEM! Thanos not getting one-shotted is a great feat in itself. The instant I was talking about was in Infinity saga when Thor chucked his hammer at Thanos which sent Thanos flying.
I know that(you brought up the instance with Thor, not me). Still doesn't change the fact that Thanos has(borderline) no outstanding battle feats on his own power.
Just for the record, if you do bump old threads you should come up with an argument as to why the person wins instead of just putting a name, you could get a warning from the mods. Just a heads up.
thanos. he is just too much. the omega beams are ver powerful but they can't just take out a cosmic GOD. heck, they can't even take out someone with a good amount of invulnerability, and we all know who that person is.
