He's more diverse than any of those characters, and just as strong as any of them.

@kangconquers: Strength isn't the only factor for round 2. Kuurth is practically immune to physical attacks and is also immune to TP. So what's Thanos going to do without BFR?

no feats corroborate that sentence. Stable Minded Sentry's best feat is beating Terax the Jobber. Gladiator would own him. besides round 5 is the weakest of the group.

@ordinaryalan: to be fair Kuurth never fought someone in the level of Thanos i mean even the full roster of the xmen would be a no serious match fo the titan i think

Thanos has in the past, shown the ability to kill unkillable beings. He delivered Death in a Universe where the concept itself didn't exist. I'm sure he can cook up something.

@mjolnirson: Yeah but it took an Odin empowered Wolverine to take Kuurth down. Not even Hope Summers with all the powers of the X men was able to take him down. Or even Colossusnaut for that matter.

Thanos could defeat Colossusnaut or Hope Summers without too much effort. We're talking about a massive cosmic level character, one who's far closer to Odin and Zeus than to the Silver Surfer and Thor in power.

@kangconquers: how difficult would be the fight for Thor under the rules?

The Destroyer armor in my eyes, should already present some difficulty. Unlike Kuurth, we're not talking about a living being. Thanos can't deliver permanent death to the Destroyer armor, as it's not alive.

The Destroyer being inhabited by Thor, and having Thor carry his PiS, Celestial killing axe, makes the bonus round too much for Thanos.

@ordinaryalan: well there you got, i really dont think that a empowered Wolverine can take on Thanos, well thats just my opinion but maybe you are right. but do you think that Kuurth would hurt Thanos bad enough to put it in K.O.?

which is ridiculous considering Odin viewed Mangog as a legitimate threat to all of Asgard, when he clearly did not have the same viewpoint as Thanos did

True but characterization often changes over the years. The Stranger, Zeus, Odin, Galactus, The Collector, The Watcher, Mephisto, Ego and The Grandmaster were all supposed to be roughly at the same level as they were being created. We definitely know that isn't the case 45 years later.

you raise a fair point. we all know the Watcher is the most powerful (lol :P after his house was broken into and 3 D list villians came in and took his lunch money)

That and The Living Tribunal being found dead on the Moon are the two most annoying things that have happened in the last 10 years. So stupid.

They're introducing some multiversal being, who's a new big bad. The problem with that is this guy can kill the Living Tribunal, but is going to be taken out by Tony Stark, Black Bolt, Namor, Beast, and Reed Richards...yeah...okay...

Thanos stops at 3.

Thanos can't stop Kuurth. Not if Kuurth has both Cytorak and Serpent powers. And WBH might prove some difficulties. Rulk gets oneshotted!

I may be a bit of a novice at these group things but in this case the groups seem a bit lopsided. I believe Thanos gets stopped at 2 BUT I think that without 2 there he would stop at 6.

3,4 and 5 are doable based on related battles between each of the members in other stories. And I cannot think of many if any characters that could get past 7?!?!?!?!
