@cheesesticks: not planet exploding. darkseids omega beams caused the planet to explode, so the beams focused on one tiny being (compared to the planet) will be deadly, much deadlier than a side effect. anyway, he destroyed the planet he was on with brute strength too, tanked supermans punches like nothing, and generally beat up everybody.

And how does Darkseid Omega beam go through Thanos shield exactly?

@Baron_von_Santa: Can you prove N52 Darksied is punching out anything near Galactus or Odin level of power? Cause if not, Thanos will slap aside those sissy beams and beat the $hit out of the entire roster.

I know your post is sarcastic, but you said Thanos would hide behind his shield so it would be a stalemate. How would it be a stalemate if Thanos can attack while being protect by his shield?

Silver Surfer can create a Black Hole as a Side-Effect of using a cosmic beam. F**k blowing up a planet. That is jack nothing next to what the Surfer can do, and Thanos beats him to death with hardly any effort at all.
