Rules

• Thanos will have one day second, and access to anything directly in his possesion to prep, but cannot bring anyone.
• Thanos will have full as soon as the fight starts when he is done preping.
• All Versions are Post Crisis Pre 52 unless mentioned.
• Every time he looses, he gains one infinity gem, from weakest til most powerful.

Note: The gems make out of orderness a bit of an issue, as he could lose, then super stomp someone who would give him a good match, So if you think someone should be lower/higer tell me.

I'd think he'd stop at Dr. Doom. Would the Mind Gem be the weakest? Whichever Gem he gets allows him to sweep Darkseid and loses to Zoom. Stomps Ultron without any Gems and gets the Power Gem with Mind Gem to maybe take out Dark Phoenix and definitely takes starving Galactus.

Possibly stops at Dr. Doom. Otherwise stops at 7.

@reaverlation: wow really? even the bonus round? I was thinking none he prolly wouldnt clear it all. But didnt want to make it a stomp, so I thought this would be a cool way to see how strong the gems are, but maybe I low balled thanos himself

@easternwind: Maybe I'm overestimating Thanos but a day of prep is dangerous. You probably get tired of getting asked but @killemall can you help here please when you get the chance?

@reaverlation: oooh I meant to put an hour prep, like, enough time for him to gear up a bit maybe.

@reaverlation: I think its fair to give a character whos smart some prep. If more people think he clears no gems, ill take it out or add some more foes. No reason to end the thread if it winds up being to easy, I cant find a good thread for how strong hed be with certain gems., theres a few jumbled threads with not many responses. So maybe we could get a few good responses here.

Doom and Phoenix are the only major problems. I have no idea which Infinity Gem is "weakest" but he should be able to beat Doom and Phoenix with...let's say two of them.

I dont think you are over-estimating Thanos with a day of prep, he has humbled a fed Galactus, as well as Hunger (an entity that eats entire universe) with similar time frame. He did the same against Omega, a being who was twice as powerful as Galactus.

Zoom is sort of inconsequential with such a prepped encounter, specially with full knowledge, i am surprised he is kept at last. All Thanos need to do is, start in the air with his shields up and get his drones to destroy the planet.

Speed isnt going to help you escape something like that.

@easternwind: In the current circumstances he will stop at Dr. Doom, depending what he decides to pull out with prep.

@easternwind: Ah, I see. In that case, I'd say he'd next lose to Phoenix, then would take Galactus..

I don't believe Zoom can hurt Thanos.
