Thanos Runs the Gauntlet

No prep. To the death. For this scenario Thanos isn't immune to death and thusly can be killed. Pre 52 DC characters.

1. Magneto, Black Bolt, Captain Atom

2. Thor, WW Hulk, Hercules

3. Superman, Sentry, Gladiator

4. Apocalypse, Maxima, Martian Manhunter

5. Hank Henshaw, Alan Scott, Atrocitus

6. Dr. Strange, Dr. Fate, Circe

7. Darkseid and Odin (for this match only strength, speed and durability are used, which means NO MAGIC, SHIELDS OMEGA BEAMS, ETC)

Thanos can't really die. That being said, i think he clears.

Clears round one, stopped in round 2

Thanos loses the first round to Cap Atom.

Wins the second

Loses the 3rd

Loses the fourth

Loses the fifth from Alan Scott alone

Loses the 6th with ease

Seventh round is somewhat confusing. Taking out magic, shields and omega beams takes away the character. What's the etcetera? If just strength speed and durability is used then Thanos loses. He's more durable than the two but loses after a long fight.

Thanos is a prep master

In a H2H fight Thanos can beat Darkseid or Odin. But not both at once

@pooty: Darksied is an utter pushover in H2H. Odin w/o asgardian magic and/or Gungnir or any of his other items, wouldn't be able to put Thanos down. Thanos kills everyone else.

I didn't notice it said no magic. Thanos can take them both.

Thanos makes it to either Round 5 or Round 6...

Round 5 could be a problem for the Purple Titan because of Cyborg Superman's Regeneration Abilities as well as Technopathy which could allow him to adapt weapons that could possibly hurt Thanos... then you have Alan Scott who was The Starheart Power... that could be a problem for Big Purple.

Round 6, we have Dr. Fate and Dr. Strange on one team... it's possible their Magical Power could overtake The Purple Titan as well...

No magic only goes for the last round. Strange,Fate have their magic.

Odin has no magic in this round. So he can't amp. Thanos takes him pretty easily

@kgb725: of course they do... even with the recent weak Black Bolt showing, he made Thanos bleed, he made him pause, then you have Magneto who is a power house and very experienced and Captain Atom could arguably solos Thanos, he is basically Dr. Manhattan with a military background. OF COURSE they put Thanos down, especially if they're teaming up. Thanos is stopped by the first team.

@blackdog2009: BB made Thanos bleed and thanos healed instantly. Magneto is not the beast he used to be and I don't think he has ever tangled with someone like Thanos. he just got beat by Iron Man in AV vs Xmen. Cap Atom could do it but if Thanos rips or cuts his suit then CA is out the game. also Thanos could get him with physic attacks. Thanos could turn CA against his own team

With no magic for Odin and no Omega beams for Darkseid, why do you think Thanos gets murdered? What H2H feats do odin and Darkseid have?

@pooty: You do know that Odin's durability is way above Thanos don't you? Darkseid may have the same physical attributes as Thanos. The two of them is just too much.

round 4 Thanos is taking on Telepathy's all at once i can't see him winning that at all but since Thanos can be killed by any one he gets dead stopped at round 3 since Thanos can't react to any of them .

He has reacted to the Surfer before.

And none of them can really hurt Thanos.

I don't think surfer has ever had Gladiator sentry's or superman's combat speed plus Gladiator can bust planets with his fists so a speed blitz would hurt Thanos badly .

Surfer has nanosecond reaction. And Thanos has reacted to an accelerating Surfer.

Busting planets mean nothing to Thanos. He has taken Supernovas and Surfer's full power blasts.

What has Thanos done to put him so far above everyone before round 6? Scans and context please?

@darkazrael999: it's cause of the death conditions thanos owns the team and despite a shock from hulk should still dominate but he can't finish it, hulks healing factor is to great he can't die. Thanos definitely dose not lose he just can't meet the condition and most likely drop hulk in a black hole or something. Since that's technically not a death he stops there after dominating.

Thanos has owned Hulk physically before. He has owned people stronger than Hulk.

@darkazrael999: again I said he dominates the fight he just can't finish it he could ko the hulk a thousand ways he could pis the hulk away a million ways but he can't kill him. And that's the condition he has to kill his opponents. I mean hell lets say he turned hulk to Bruce banner and threw him in a super nova Hulk would live. Really only way he could pull a pis version of death is if he brought hulk directly to deaths realm. If that counts then he passes and heads to the final round since I don't spot any other I can't die characters. If Thanos gets to keep his powers easy win if he is also left to h2h combat odin finishes him

How would Hulk live if Thanos throws Banner into a Supernova? He would disintegrate almost instantaneously.

I think Thanos could clear. Lots of those rounds would be extremely tough.

@darkazrael999: When Banner senses danger he will automatically turn into Hulk.Banner has tried to kill himself but Hulk won't let him. @alessandro_souzamarques: Odin's energy durability is above Thanos. but this is a H2H fight. I have not seen Odin take a punch or show any skill. Without magic, Odin is weaker then Thor. Darkseid may be on Thanos level physically but lacks Thanos skill.

I could see him clearing. R6 being the hardest one.

maybe stops at 7, maybe clears not sure, for the other rounds he clears them with moderate difficulty in some and with big difficulty in others. Thanos has durability can tank gaz giant explosions,Surfer's blasts, Galactus blasts,...his matter manipulation beats Skrull, Mantis... his telepathy can resist even Moondragon with mind gem, his strength far exceeds ones who can shatter core of a star. this is enough for me to be sure he gets at least to round 7

After checking rd 7, he clears it.

@darkazrael999: hulk can walk on the sun and has before and in any environment that would kill banner hulk will come back out no matter what you've done to banner. He heals faster than a super nova burns him away. When needed his healing is faster than light I'll provide scans later since I'm on a mobile right now.

all those 3 of those would be interesting matches to see but iknow he wont get past 7 bc its no extra stuff just strenght durability and such well darkseid already thanos equal in everything if not more and odin who max physical strenght is 90 tons without bumping himself with magic and plus all his years of experience so all together i think 7 beats him for sure but round 5 6 7 make me say mm interesting. you did good job i love this battle

@pooty: Odin KO'd himself by headbutting Galactus. Thanos durability feats are by far one of the most ridiculous in the comic industry.

Is a Hulk fan really talking about ridiculous durability feats? lol
