Team Taskmaster versus Team Batman

Team 1: Taskmaster, Crossbones, Winter Soldier and Bullseye

Team 2: Batman, Nightwing, Jason Todd and Red Robin

Location: Roman Ruins

Scenario:

- Battle takes place at night

- Team 2 is assaulting Team 1's location

- Team 1 is guarding the temple but unaware of Team 2

- 20 minutes of prep for Team 2 and given brief info on Team 1 (name and known abilities)

- Standard gear for Team 2 (Jason Todd w/ high caliber rifle and twin pistols)

- Standard gear for Team 1 (Crossbones w/ combat shotgun, Winter Soldier w/ combat knife and pistol, Bullseye w/ dozen throwing knives)

- KO or Death

- Morals on

Team 1,Batman can beat all of them,Nightwing can beat some of them,Jason and Tim won't beat any of them.

Team 1. They have the advantage because they don't have problems with killing their enemies (even with morals on, they don't bother).

@Morpheus_: Yeah, they're not allowed to go after the other team during prep time.

I actually meant to give their team less time for prep, but the OP gets all funky when I try to edit it.

I dont see Tim beating anybody on Team 1 in h2h. Jason probably could but its a stretch.

Maybe cause Nightwing has beaten... Deadpool 2? forgive me but both Red Hood and Jason Todd were created well before Deadpool.Nightwing is physically superior and more skilled on top of it.Willingness to kill is pretty much the only advantage Jason has.

Taskmaster is no slouch, when he isnt jobbing, Crossbones is damn good, too Bucky as winter soldier MEH, and bullseye is screwed in H2H

Excuse me? Deadpool isn't even in this match. Assuming that's a typo and you meant Red Hood/Todd, saying he's a weak link in this match doesn't translate to he sucks. It's just in comparsion to his enemies, he's not taking a solid majority against any.

Batmans posse. But not without casualties I'm afraid. Red Robin targets a viable entry point and sticks with Bruce. Drake will struggle to keep up with the pack for long before he finds himself on the end of a bullet. Man down. On an opposite end of the building allied with Dick, Jason springs an ambush. Jason becomes impatient when they can't close the distance quick enough, become reckless as usual. He guns a couple guys down before he bites it too. Dick cleans up and prepares to rendezvous with Batman. Nightwing is equipped to handle everyone on Team 1, but he won't/can't take their captain. In a favorable scenario Nightwing finishes off right hand man Crossbones. Batman trades with Taskmaster, Nightwing arrives and they go Dynamic duo on his ass. Or Nightwing runs into Taskmaster first, gets walked down. He holds up long enough for Batman assist him. Team 2.

I'm interested in hearing how Todd "guns a couple of guys down" because i disagree with him taking a majority over any of team Marvel. I'm one of his biggest supporters, but he's literally only taking them down if he's allowed to snipe them while their twiddling their thumbs, lol.

@k4tzm4n: Kamikaze style! Hood abandons the "plan" and rushes in face first. In Team 1's defense, Todd might not administer two killing blows, but it's likely he'll take atleast one of their members down with him,(or critically wound) especially if they weren't expecting him or Nightwing who's a little stealthier. NW flips on infrared, and ninjas the survivor. I think hoods helmet can resist a couple of gunshots, not sure.

I'm confused about which one is team 1 and which is team 2, insofar as which group is attacking and whcih is defending, and which has basic info on the other.

At the top of the OP, Taskmaster's team is Team 1. In the description at the bottom of the OP, Batman's team is Team 1.

WIthout taking the attacking/defending/prep into account, my tendency is to give it to Taskmaster's team, mostly because of Bullseye, who is the most accurate and would do the best job of taking people out at a distance. Taskmaster, Crossbones, and Winter Soldier would be a good match against Batman, Nightwing, and Jason. But Bullseye would take out Red Robin kind of quickly and then could add to a 4 on 3 fight against the Bat team, making it less likely for the Bat team to be able to win. Perhaps team Taskmaster wins 6 or 7/10.

OK then. I think I end up with a slightly different result. If the bad guys are alert and defending, they would do pretty well. Batman's knowledge of their team won't help too much. But Batman's team's abilility to stealth in and take out some guys via sneak attack would give them some advantage. I think the bad guys' defense abilities and the invading good guys' sneaking/snipe abilities cancel each other out, but Bullseye's abilities come in a little less important now since they could snipe him first. So I give a slight advantage to team Bats.

Team 1.

I think Taskmaster could stalemate Batman in a hand to hand struggle for a time. Batman would outsmart him and drop him eventually though. Especially with the ounce of prep time proferred.

I think Winter Soldier is underestimated in a few comments I've read thus far. He's gotten the drop on Wolverine before. A few times. I see him giving Nightwing a very tough fight. Possibly even winning. Very good fight between the two principle one time sidekicks of Batman and Captain America respectively.

Bullseye could beat Red Robin.

Crossbones could probably beat Jason in a tough fight.

Leaning towards team one... slightly.

@Super_SoldierXII: IMHO Bullseye would dominate Robin and I have little doubt against Crossbones taking a majority against Todd.
