The fight scenes are always uninterrupted by Peter going and breaking the 4th wall.

WHY THE F**K is he breaking the fourth wall every two seconds, it's Ultimate Spiderman, not Ultimate Deadpool

The characters are linear, hell Ironfist is just a fortune cookie who spits one liners.

I even gave Ultimate Spidey a try again last week, the Dr Strange episode couldve been a good thing, but no...i was dissapointed again..and THEN, they had the audacity to remind Spidey of his dead Uncle...and have him NOT go into total overwhelming guilt.

As for Luke Cage and Iron Fist? They had them in EMH: Avengers, which they ALSO decided to cancel.

It stayed true to Spiderman, gave him his real-life problems, gave him villains outside of 1 episode then there gone.

Spectacular Spiderman was the closest thing to the comics since Spiderman TAS.

Ultimate Spiderman is disgusting and tries to appeal to the brain dead audience we see today, with overloaded humor, 4th wall breaking and a linear plot. (No offence)

I don't blame you for leaving, I don't believe in movie characters fighting comic or cartoon versions of the character because of course the movie version ( which is the real life version. ) is going to win hands down....

Anyways Ironmans suit didn't show to be anymore durable than what it was in the first one... Only reason it never got damaged in IM2 is because he never faced anybody as big or as durable as IronMonger!!!

I gotta agree, this show is better for anyone, not just kids... as for the battle, as much as I love Spiderman... I gotta go with Iron man. (since no specifics about Spidermans upgrades or who is fighting with him) Spidey makes it a battle, but Ironman is to much, even with the team he has, of Cage White Tiger Nova and Iron Fist would beat Iron Man though...

What stuff are you smoking, Avengers EMH, Wolverine & The X-Men, classic X-Men are wayyyyy better. And dont get me wrong I watch Ultimate Spiderman, it has its moments, but has alot and i mean ALOT of childish unfunny humorless cheesey jokes and goes a over board with the 4th wall breaking.

The Spider-Man cartoon that was on Saturday mornings on Fox when I was growing up was the best. Why? Because I grew up on it damn it. It also didn't patronize the child audience with stupid humor and zero plot. It had a story, the episodes inter-connected, and Spidey was true to Spidey. I don't know if it was "Amazing Spider-Man" or Spectacular or what. At the time it was the only one. We all just called it Spider-Man.
