This fight would be extremely close however as far as durability goes Karate Kid has both of them, so DC team probably wins.

I'll be honest though Liu Kang vs Karate Kid would be an awesome fight and so would Kung Lao vs Midnighter.

KK beats bloodlusted kryptonians and Midnighter beats red lanterns. These wouldn't be close fights.

Either of the two DC characters could solo and I'm saying that as a Mortal Kombat fanatic.

Last I checked KK beated blooslusted Kryptonians by using the fact they were not thinking.

Midnighter beat 1 lantern who was worth anything and 1 who is basically there as a plot device. Kung Lao vs Midnighter would be a LOT closer than Liu Kang vs KK, I'll give you that.

He was thinking fine to my knowledge. Just that he was bloodlusted. He was speaking full sentences, picking up on KK's footwork, etc.

Midnighter still would have every advantage over Kung Lao. And this is MKgod making the thread. In New 52, I'd still favor Midnighter over Kung Lao, if Wildstorm, it's a horrible mismatch.

Midnighter has his battle computer in his head that allows his to view a fight between him and his opponents a million times and see the out comes (its precognition). He also has implants that greatly increase his strength speed and durability (he can turn his pain receptors on/off).

Val is just a monster in fighting he easily doges and beats kryptionans, he a human that just isn't human.

@mkgod: They are skilled I am not denying that what so ever. I am just saying that Midnighter enhancements and Battle computer make him well better than Shao Kahn. As he will know how everyone fights and what their powers are.

And Val moves at least faster than Kryptoinans (I don't want to say FTL, because I don't know where it is stated, but he is vastly vastly faster than Lui kang and Kung Lao.)

Team DC is just way too powerful and way too skilled for Lui Kang and Kung Lao.
