Rules:

• Standard gear for Tea Kurenai.
• Sasori gets all the puppets he used against Sakura and Chiyo, except he doesn't start out in Hiruko.
• Sasori is not Edo.
• Morals on, determined to win.
• Team Kurenai gets basic knowledge of Sasori's puppets.
• Sasori gets basic knowledge of Team Kurenai.
• Team Kurenai gets only one vile of antidote for Sasori's poisons.
• Fight takes place in the Akatsuki hideout.
• Start 40 feet apart.
• Win by death or KO.

Who wins and why?

Team. Shino's insects can eat the chakra threads Sasori uses. (unless I'm remembering wrong)

Not sure about that, I'd still side with the team since Sasori has limited weaponry.

Shinoi has a lot of insects though lol

@thevivas: Shino has bugs of amounts we've never fully seen. He has to get Sasori with them from the beginning, which I think he will. Kurenai is irrelevant in this, Kiba will has no problem slicing through puppets with his giant dog fusion, and flying through sasori. Hinata is Hell for puppets thanks to byakugan and gentle fist. Team kurenai are the puppet killers lol.

@thevivas: Lol sasori gets murdered. Any other akatsuki member would murder the team. Especially Kisame, he'd have to get his chakra absorbed for months lol.

With byakugan and gentle fist style, this girl can literally run through puppets, striking them as she closes in on sasori. If sakura can avoid the puppets while whooping their ass while being tied to strings of chakra can do this, hinate can do this much easier with her greater strike speed. On the original naruto series, neji was capable of murdering hella amounts of raining spiders that came down at crazy speeds. These spiders were all small too, making them harder targets. Hinata should be able to do much more than part one neji. Sasori is a hyuga's food in battle. Especially ones like hinata.

Kiba:

Smoke pellets and akamara are key here. Three headed wolf destroys everything sasori owns. Kiba would rip through them with his fang over fang regularly, the piercing damage is too powerful. Sasori has no defense for this at all.

Shino:

Thousands of uncountable bugs that can slip past sasori so easily, they fly, they crawl, and there's thousands. Sasori won't focus on all of these as he's getting his ass kicked by the other team members. No amount of puppets sasori has can amount to the amount of bugs shino has, it only takes a few to take all your chakra. As for sasori's puppet form, the bugs can still get in him, hinata still kicks his ass up close, so does kiba. And he does not have the speed to constantly battle back and forth with them and focus on shino AND his bugs as well.

all together...they are complete destruction.

Kiba is too big of a target and gets tagged easily.

Hinata and Shino are more difficult but they eventually fall to the overwhelming force of Iron Sand.

TBF, Sakura would have never beaten Sasori without Shiyo (who is a hokage level shinobi).

iron sand would give serious trouble. shino's bugs can eat chakra strings but that's just a possibility. if sasori uses 100 puppets there will be too much for shino's bugs to devour, plus lets not forget sasori would reattack the strings anew, also sasori has fire... you know, bugs don't like fire.
the team can win if they go full power and combine it well, but the longer the fight drags on the lower their chances get. its only a matter of time until they will get hit by something and they have only one antidote.
even if the team was to win, there would be casualties for sure, probably only one would be alive.

Shino's bugs can eat chakra strings, but Kankuro told us in that same fight that rapidly reattaching the strings is one of the most basic skills a puppet user masters, and Sasori is significantly far ahead of Kankuro as a puppeteer. Sasori's main body also comes complete with a flamethrower, and all the poison gas he uses would be a strong counter for Shino's arsenal.

Puppets don't have chakra points for Hinata to hit, so her taijutsu is a lot less useful outside her heavy hitting attacks. She's the most capable of dealing with Sasori's needle spray and her Byakugan will let her see everything Sasori is doing, but I don't see her being able to deal with a massive block of iron sand the way Sakura did, and poison gas can still get her.

Kiba and Akamaru don't have much that helps the team here. I don't know if they can track inanimate objects by scent, and the amount of poison gas in the air is going to mess with that as well. They also aren't especially fast and will need Hinata to protect them from all the stray needles and blades. Fang over Fang is very destructive, but it can be dodged, and there's a good chance Kiba or Akamaru will get hit by something deadly before it comes into play.

Team high diff, with Byakugan thre already know where his weakness is

Sasori is way more impressive. He only lost to Sakura and Chino because they had knowledge, prep (the antidote for poison), and because of PIS.
