Isn't Cable an insanely powerful telepath? More so than Psylocke? He might be the swing here.

No, you can't tell him she kicked the tar out of Wolverine. You're missing about half the fight and your scans are jumping from different points in the fight. Psylocke did extremely well against a berserk Wolverine, but you're failing to mention 1) she had help from Jinn when he distracted Logan. 2) Psylocke mentioned Wolverine was overwhelming not just mentally, but physically. Logan tagged her and cut her. She didn't walk out of the fight looking like a fresh spring daisy.

I think team one is too much of a power house in terms of nukes for team 2. Cable could probably fend off psylocke's TK and TP while havok and cyclops deal with gambit and wolverine, and since wolves doesn't have his healing factor I don't think he can be as unstoppable as usual. Close fight though team 1 7/10

Cable can stall Betsy, so then the Summers family wins handily. Current Logan with no healing factor hasn't been very impressive, which is still bullsh*t, since he's been in worse situations. He lost a modicum of his skill and without his HF he loses quite a bit of his damage soak. Gambit is agile and has firepower, but in comparison to a team consisting of Cyclops, Havok, and Nathan? That isn't even fair. And Psylocke, while the MVP of her team, still has normal human durability.

Honestly, team Wolverine's only chance is Psylocke going for the immediate mental shutdown. She has done it before, but a lot of times, Betsy prefers to use her telepathy in conjunction with her melee combat. She usually busts out the psi blade as a coup de grace kinda thing. Lately, she's been going more out of the way with her constructs, using things such as he bows and arrows, crossbows, morningstar flails, etc. And of course her TK katana, but that is older. Still, she doesn't really use her powers in the way most telepaths do. She does sometimes, but like I said, she prefers her confrontational fights and uses her powers to supplement her melee fights.

But all Cable needs is just a few moments to hold her back. Given the structure of Cyclops' consistent new blasts, I won't take what Jason Aaron made Cyclops say in one of the recent WatXM in regards to his powers as truth because it's bullsh*t, they are harder to dodge. Havok isn't as accurate, but his blasts are kind of wide and he can make them wider. Throw in Cable with his over the top 90's laser guns in conjunction with the brothers attacking all at the start of the fight and team Wolverine is screwed.

@darkbeam: I would make this wolverine with his healing factor as opposed to current wolverine. Also I would make this pre avx cyclops.

Team Summers should take this fairly comfortably. Psylocke is the main threat on team 2, and Cable should be able to hold off her tp/tk long enough for his team to blast the other.

Good arguments for team Summers. I think they would win.
