If he can't copy Danny's chi abilities, he won't be able to copy KK's alien knowledge and chi manipulation either. Also, KK performs his feats by understanding his surroundings. Something you can't copy from observation.

i dont think he could copy KK because his pysiology is different and he is superior physically to taskmaster. Which makes a lot of sense because KK is from the 31st century and humans might have evolved beyond previous limitations.

#16 Posted by Hksaru (463 posts) - - Show Bio

Depending on the type of observation he gets he could pose some form of threat, but no he most surely gets stomped one way or another in every encounter

Guys. What if...Karate Kid is actually Taskmaster put into DC, FROM THE FUTURE. And he has copied all martial arts of the universe.

#19 Posted by joewell (6612 posts) - - Show Bio

@xeon1cs: That would be....odd

@Hksaru: full observation, anything he can't get his hands on in the MU

I don't think that applies here. Captain America can do this well outside what normal humans can do but Taskmaster can copy his moves just fine.

captain america is still a normal man.. superior to most but still human. Im saying I think Taskmaster wouldnt be able to copy some of the things he does because they would be beyond his physical ability to do so

going by the statement that kk is a normal human being, it could go either way. but we all know a human being cant stop an earthquake with a stomp of a foot. so yeah.....

Have to give this one to KK who lets be honest here, uses PIS as a superpower cause no level of karate training is going to allow a normal human to do what KK does.

One of the most ridiculous characters in comics wins in a stomp. KK wins. Seriously though?! Wtf is up with his name? I mean they couldn't come up with something better than Karate Kid? Even Ralph Macchio is laughing. Now sweep the leg!

Karate Kid defeats Taskmast-No, Taskmaster rises from the ashes through the power of awesome, and Karakte kid, realizing that he is the epitome of failure, combusts upon laying his eyes upon the awesomeness that is TASKMASTER!

@Lord_Johnathan: Sorry but I have to disagree, KK is the Bugs Bunny of the Legion, he always wins even if he has to do something epicly retarded that doesn't make any kind of sense.

#38 Posted by Krusnik (64 posts) - - Show Bio

@laflux: Maybe you'll earn the same in the future xD

@joshmightbe:

Karakte Kid is made of FAIL, Taskmaster is made of WIN.

My logic is FLAWLESS.

Whyzzat Floopster?

Because they keep claiming him as "Peak Human". Essentially, he's a PIS machine like Deathstroke and Wolverine, and I can't stand that type of character.

I still don't get why we're okay with Iron Fist punching bullet trains filled with nukes and walking away without a scratch, but we're not okay with anything Karate Kid does.

#42 Posted by Bane_of_sith (2796 posts) - - Show Bio

Kid WIS,PIS FTW....peak human my ass! Another overpowered DC character

#43 Posted by joshmightbe (24728 posts) - - Show Bio

@xeon1cs: Iron Fist actually has a super power, He uses Chi that was magically enhanced when he took the mantle of Iron Fist. So there is a valid (by super hero standards) explanation where as KK just trained real hard.

#44 Posted by NyghtMare (403 posts) - - Show Bio

@xeon1cs: It was pure luck that Iron Fist walked away, he even said so.

#45 Edited by xeon1cs (1481 posts) - - Show Bio

@joshmightbe: We can't just chalk up Karate Kid to using Chi?

@NyghtMare: Lucky break that he is 100% unharmed? That doesn't seem like luck. It would be lucky if he was hurt, but still alive. Instead of just apparently impervious to nuclear weapons.

This isn't fair for Taskmaster.
