Task Master vs Karate Kid
vs
the amazing karate kid
1.task master watches 5 hour footage of the karate kid
2.task master faces him without prep
3.forget the PIS beteating superboy it was obvious superboy did not want to kill him
4.Standard equipment for the task master
5.fanboys not allowed
Hrm.. this is a tough one, I think it comes down to if you believe that by mimicking KK's exact movements will also equate to masterning his techniques of channel chi and achieving some of the amazing feats he can. To be quite honest I'm not sure, so I'm hoping a better expert on Taskmaster will weigh in on this one.
KK has such over top feats that calling him less than superhuman defies even comic book logic (note the scan above). TM "should" be able to dup any non-superhuman ability, and five hours of prep along with the other skills in his tool belt "should" be enough beat 99% of non-superhumans. Which make me say, KK shouldn't be able to beat him .... but still would.
Since 5 hours of footage seems a bit long, at some point Taskmaster probably would've tried his "double time" trick, allowing him to do some of Karate Kid's better moves at superspeed. That's one edge. Not sure how useful guns would be, since TM picked up how to catch bullets from a guy in a mini-series, so KK probably can do so, too. That also totally wipes out any archery. Shotguns should be fine, anything with spread or rapid fire.. He had a stolen S.H.I.E.L.D. device that let him create things out of pure energy (from Spidey's webs to Wolvie's claws), but he hasn't used for a while, with no explanation I know of. If he has it, KK might be distracted be the "webbing" for long enough to take a bullet. But I'm going to give TM this, since KK would probably have a hard time with his best moves at superspeed. But Taskmaster will be recovering for quite a while.

hope more to come
5 hours of footage will not cover anywhere near a significant portion of KK's knowledge on martial arts. Furthermore, copying the physical movements does not mean he copies the ability to its fullest. Seeing KK kick a mountain over does not mean he will be able to do it too.
And bringing up the "double time" thing againI don't think double time will give him an advantage. Karate Kid has fought Ultra Boy while he was using his superhuman speed. He also reacted to Mon-El's blitz, redirecting him into outer space.
@erik: Thanks for the heads up.
Anyway, given the examples from everybody and how useless most of Task's weapons would be (not sure about shotguns, but still), I 'm switching over to saying Karate Kid will win, but Taskmaster will put up a respectable fight.
Someone copying and using someone else's skills vs. the person who has been training for years developing those skills and how to use them in battle.
Karate Kid wins. Taskmaster should honestly need a lot longer to be able to anywhere near match Karate Kid's fighting ability.
Karate kid no doubt!!His ability to exploit the weakest point of anything and his knowledge of martial arts from 20 and 30 century, gives a HUGE advantage
@Dynamo8: Drawn never. He is master of all martial arts of 20 and 30 century 20 , is much more than a dozen styles and alme that he can see the weakest point of everything (people, objects, fighting techniques).
Scans below show Karate Kid seeing the weakest point of 2 space ships and figthing with 30 aliens inmates

THIS.
Taskmaster would mimic Karate Kid perfectly after 5 hours, so it would be Karate Kid vs Karate Kid with a sword. (obvious who will win in this one.)
