Yeah Conan beats Tarzan, it'll be a decent fight but I don't think Tarzan can hang with Conan.  really I think the only 'Pulp Era' character that would stand much of a chance against Conan is Doc Savage. And even then I think that Conan can take that fight (though It'd be a close one)

I'm actually interested in what Tarzan has done, I haven't seen anyone posts feats of him here...I'm just curious though of what he can do.

I highly doubt that as Conan figured out how to beat sorcerers, war lords, and even gods.

Also this is common sense from any weapons expert or novice. Sword > Knife.

Alright, I'll give you that. Warlords and sorcerers shouldn't be a huge problem. But Tarzan still has speed and agility over Conan. Tarzan has easily avoided gun fire on multiple occasions.

Seriously? Because never once in any comic/movie/book/manga/game has some one with inferior weaponry beat some one with better weaponry. Because in Falling Skies the human resistance holds their own and actually wins some battles with basic rifles vs plasma weapons.
Alien rifle > M-16. That argument is pretty weak for your standards.

I'm not saying Tarzan stomps, but he wins 7/10 IMO. I don't see why something like this

Conan is faster than Tarzan, their agility is probably the same. Also Conan is smarter lol.

@jwalser3: Even if he stabs Conan, it will do little damage to him. Conan survived sword and dagger stabs many times, he took several arrows in his chest and he just took them out and continued fighting. He was hit with the mace in the head and was still standing lol.

Tarzan taught himself how to read in the jungle using only a library (no, seriously)

Just becuase TV shows and Comics ignor common sense does not mean Inferior Weapons > To more efficient weapons.

If Inferior Weapons were better, then the Indians with Bows would not have been slaughtered by Calvary with Rifles.

Common Sense.

Knife has "Limited" Reach. Sword does not. Conan would have a far easier time to get a kill before Tarzan is close enough for the same. A Sword likewise has a better chance to kill because of its length and cutting a human in two. A Knife has to hit a vital enough spot period.

Sword > Knife.

It's to bad Tarzan aims pretty well for the vital points and is quick enough to do it. Replace the gorrila's arms with Conans sword..... Just saying.

That's fine and all. But in the whole LoTJ series he always aimed for vital spots.

It always seemed to be throat shots. He doesn't have many archery feats because he was using his knife 80% of the time.

@wolfrazer: Yeah here. They're all from Dynamite's Lord of the Jungle 1-15, to my surprise he can dodge bullets real easily

@jwalser3: Aslo on speed, Conan is faster than most in H2H. Dodging bullets of cannon fodder thugs is not that impressive.

Also let me know when Tarzan can beat someone like the Midknight God with his speed and knife.

Conan is simply better in just about all areas except Agility.

@cadencev2: I'm not saying Tarzan has better skill. But he is wildly unpredictable when it comes to fighting. Conan is stronger, can ge. But Tarzan's reaction time and agility will make him a hard target.

Plus when Tarzan grabs aloud of someone(2 times in LotJ he sparred some one but could have killed them) he stabbs at their neck.

So going after the weak points in the body is nothing new to him. And he should have the strength to hold him down. Seeing how

Like I said before, Tarzan doesn't stomp. But IMO he takes this 7/10.

@jwalser3: BTW, I really enjoy the scans. I like Dynamite thanks to their Terminator Comics, Tarzan looks worth checking out.

Conan FTW. It would be a good match, But the Cimmerian takes it. I'll post scans of Conan defeating a T-Rex lizard creature and him defeating Rune (A Dark God) Hand 2 Hand later

And you have to realize that Tarzan isn't the same kind of person Conan is. The mythology Conan lives in puts him against greater things, like those gods and what not. While Tarzan is put against Lions, and bears. So of course Conan has better feats of him over coming these mages and dragons. Tarzan has never been pitted against such a foe. The biggest thing Tarzan brought down in LoTJ was a giant four armed ape.
