No Saturn i assumed they wer both in there normal form NOT STRONGER NOR WEAKER i thought it was a battle with no extra powers i didn't think Takion was a more powerful form and i didn't think Thanos was weaker in form as far as i new it was a random encounter ? was i wrong ? cos if i was i may change my awnser

What with his speed and durability? Or TP defence?
@czarny_samael: He has Telepathy, and he has fairly good durability as his entire body is made out of energy. And speed is decent, but like I said time manipulation he was able to travel between seconds.

1.Thanos was able to defend himself from Mantis,Moondragon and Cosmo at once without any effort and on other occasion give problems to Galactus in Astral Plane or mindrape Falle One. He also survived in Black Hole and is high level energy manipulator (what is very bad news to Takion).

I'm going with Thanos for now, because of TP, but if You will post Takion's best feats I can change my mind without too much trouble.
I'm no expert on Takion, but his powerset reads somewhat similarly to Silver Surfer's - cosmic awareness, matter manipulation, energy manipulation, etc. We all know what Thanos has done to SS......

Thanos can't hurt Takion. Takion can stop him from being able to release his energy and Thanos can't beat him up because he only has a body because he wants to have one.

I accept that takion wins, but Thanos has a neck and neck win loss record with superman. No jobbing or strings attached, he's been portrained as only superman level post crisis.
The logic in this thread is unreal. Takion has powers similar to SS and since Thanos > SS then Thanos must win...

You wanna know who else has similar powers to SS? Galactus, but that doesn't mean they're on the same level. Molecule Man and Beyonder had similar powers, Arkillo and Sinestro have similar powers, doesn't mean that they're equals.

If it's PIS, why the hell is it so consistent? He's lost like, 4 times. If it happens enough times, it's not PIS, it's how the character works. Superman even deflected the omega beams with heat vision, in the same arc that he backhanded superman.
The full power of the omega effect has never shown to be more than what he normally uses. Some people say the source protects people he uses it on, but there is no base for that and considering it failed on Doomsday and black mary, I doubt the source is intervening.
I've never seen him grow to planetary sizes, or warp time, or easily KO superman.
Matter manipulation has always been wierd to me. Shouldn't anyone who has it be able to win instantly? Firestorm, surfer, high tier sorcerers and a bunch of other people don't seem to be able to with it.
@themagicstik: actually, molecule man and beyonder have different powers. he and SS have similar powers, but his are amplified.
Actually PR they both derrived their power's from the Beyonder Universe, Molecule Man had a slice, Beyonder had the whole pie. Now they're just both incomplete cosmic cubes.
