He can only do that with prep, it was explained that the symbiote ate meat to increase its mass in order to do that.

only do what he did in USA due to his mass increase allowing him to take over a whole group rather than one opponent. And Rulks gotten momentarily possessed by a symbiote before so it could work

He's never done it since carnage USA. He needs to increase his mass in order to do it at all.

@jashro44: He CAN but its very unlikely. I'll explain but correct me if im wrong! The symbiote would need to expand its mass to possess a group or to even stay attatched to Cletus while doing it. In Superior Carnage Annual, the symbiote was host jumping, possessing and killing everyone on its own trying to find Cletus. The symbiote could do this here but its highly unlikely since it wouldnt leave Cletus. Same thing Venom did to Rulk. Again, its possible but unlikely
