I think Mags will kill Sylar at first, he's just too powerful. But with Sylar's new regeneration power it won't keep him down for long unless Erik does something like stick some metal in Sylar's head and leave it there (Sylar won't be able to regenerate unless the metal is taken out so he can heal). But if Magneto kills him a way that Sylar can come back to life then Sylar would sneak up on Erik while his back is turned and turn him to water or something. I'm not a comic writer but that wasn't too hard to come up with and it sounds plausible unless Mags never lowers his shield. Otherwise Mags.
"why are you basing it off the series when sylar is a badass in the comic"
Because that's the main source for Heroes. Plus I don't follow the comics. Saw some of them, mainly from season one. I'm not too big of a fan like I use to because I felt alot of the things in that series were letdowns. But why don't you tell me what Sylar did in the comics that puts him so much above his TV counterpart? From the comics I did saw him in the only thing more "badass" is the way they draw him.
One thing the comic sylar does is focus on him justifying his reasons for killing, he also uses his power more whereas, the tv sylar uses a few every show, i agree with you i think mags would win here but i mean basing a fight between a comic character and the way a character is written on a show isnt a competition.

Well both the comics and the TV series were written by the same people right? So I don't see why we can't reference the series. But I don't get what you mean when you say basing a fight between a comic character and the way a characters is written on a show isn't a competition.
Not nessacarly the comic is made for reading, the show was made for watching therefore some aspects of the comic wont appear on the Tv because of "interest of the veiwers"
"Not nessacarly the comic is made for reading, the show was made for watching therefore some aspects of the comic wont appear on the Tv because of "interest of the veiwers"hmmmmmmmmm how can i explain thisin a comic the writer had more freedom to do what he or she pleases, on tv the director must go through with the producer and take out things that wont fly on tv, comics can be written and then get a rating.Tv shows have to be the same rating week after week, unless specified otherwise. Which means the characters in Tv are weaker then there comic counterparts"
Okay I kind of get what you're saying. Comics have more freedom, hence why the characters can generally do more. Though it's not always the case. For example X-men the animated series have their characters dead on to their comic counterparts. Though Human-Juggernaut will argue about his controversial loss to Gladatior. Then there's Dragon Ball Z, a manga oriented franchise that took off once the TV show was made where the characters are doing more outrageous things than there comic counterparts. There's also Star Wars Clone Wars (the original, not the new CGI version) where some fans have argued about the over the top powers being displayed. Then there's my series the Simpsons. Where the show has has featured some seriously powerful characters and items. The video games has some, though not as powerful. The comic books have little to none. But these are all cartoon shows, so the standards are probably different.
magneto would destroy sylar...( i like heroes) but magneto would kill everyone in that universe...
magneto would be angry that sylar selflishly kills others with powers with no leginamate reason and would be disgusted in how powerful sylar thinks himself to be... magneto would crush and impale him with metal a hundred times over and then launch him into orbit towards the sun ( let me see him heal, i dare him to)
"Nerx said:So he'll know precisely how Magneto is going to tear him apart? Quite frankly, I don't see how Sylar will win this. He has yet to absorb someone with powers that match Magneto, and the fact that he is an empath doesn't mean much when Magneto has a helmet and experience to boot."Mags FTW, Sylar will be pin-cushioned with pipes then hurled to the sun"No.Sylar's an empath. If he gets Magneto's power, he understands how to use it due to his intuitive aptitude."
