Thanos couldn't even beat Odin. I don't think a month's prep is going to help him help someone else lower on the cosmic food chain than him beat someone stronger than a person he's weaker than. Isn't Surter with the Twilight Sword a multi-galaxy buster at least and a universal buster at best? BRB gets murked.

Surtur with the Twilight Sword is above Odin by a lot. Thanos can train Bill with the Powef Gem I guess.
