Hahahahahahahha, you must be joking there isn't a way in hell that Sodam Yat and the Martian Manhunter can win. 

The Norse god of the FIRE giants vs someone who is deathly afraid of fire.   You must really be out of your mind.

This...is a horrible match-up. Firelord is a herald, who is purely flame based, which is still MM's main weakness. Surtur is a Skyfather, so he can take this by himself. But let's be nice to everyone involved here. Surtur is so amused at their antics he decides to sit back an watch for a while. Firelord squares off with MM, and manages to get a good blast of Fire driven by the Power Cosmic just as MM hit's him with a mental bolt. Coming to his ally's aid gets into a battle with Firelord and easily puts him down since MM's psi-bolt weakened him. Surtur wastes no time in owning Sodam, who in an amazing showing of his contol over the Ion Power manages to last a full 10 mins. TA-DAH!!!

This is less of a mismatch than most people think....I think. MM is way underrated. MM utilizing his powers to the fullest is incredibly versatile and powerful. Also, fire hasn't been much more than an annoyance to MM in years.

That said, it's my understanding that Surtur stands formidably against Odin.

Team 1 should take this.

Mismatch, more than often Odin needs help to defeat Surtur.

I disagree friend. Intangibility, invisibility, some of the greatest psychic abilities in the DCU and Superman level strength is nothing to just write off.

I already said I believe team one wins. I'm just saying team two isn't something to be trifled with.

As very often stated on comic vine, A>B B>C A>C doesn't work when it comes to comic book characters. Starbreaker destroys star systems with ease. He gets stopped by the JLA constantly. Galactus eats planets like apples. Reed Richards has stopped him/turned him into a human/killed him.

Odin may very well be a galaxy buster. MM has a power set that shouldn't just be disregarded...even against Odin.

Don't know about the Starbreaker situation but RR is probably the second smartest guy in the Marvel Universe, with prep there is no reason why he shouldn't beat Galactus.

Odin would one shot MMH the same way he one shotted Silver Surfer, Surtur does the same to MMH.

Starbreaker was just an example. Dr. Doom has held off Celestials. Thanos's power has gone from facing Drax to owning Black Bolt. Superboy Prime got owned by Bart Allen but later tanked a blast that destroyed an entire universe.

As I put in my original post. MM's power set poses a threat. Utilizing his power to the fullest, no one is dealing with him easily.

Again, I AGREED! Team one ultimately takes this. I just don't think it's the complete right off some people are trying to make it out to be.
